Would a sig radius of 150 and a ship sensor strength of 156.1 make my tengu unprobable?

sensor_strength / sig_radius >= 1.08
156.1 / 150 = 1.041

Dude... Division is taught in elementary school. Rational numbers in middle school.
That sound isn't your head exploding, it's the sound of your head imploding from being sucked into the dense core of Stupid that's sitting in your otherwise empty skull.

So, silly question..
Do you need to have a sensor strength that's higher than your sig or the other way around?

Do you think titans are unprobabable?

Almost there. Unprobeable: signature strength < 1.08 signature strength = signature radius / sensor strength = 150 / 156.1 = 0.96 OP's Tengu would be unprobeable.

My bad, you're correct. You think I would have bookmarked the unprobeable formula thread by now.

This is correct. I'd just like to note that T2 Furies increase signature radius when loaded, so your unprobable Tengu is advised to add another ECCM or stick to CN ammo. :)

Probably known, but just in case: same goes for fitting shield extenders, shield rigs and I-stabs and for an (activated) MWD which all enlarge your signature radius. Also: getting targetpainted (Angels).

More relevant for the OP using t2 missiles also increases the sig. Can get over this using ECCM implants.

Dude... Sarcasm is taught on internet forums. No school necessary!
That sound you heard (WHOOOOOOSH) was my joke going over your head.
EDIT: From the trouble you had with that formula, looks like you might consider revisiting that middle school math class you were so quick to recommend to me. *wink*

You weren't joking or engaging in sarcasm.

Misremembering a formula isn't the same as whining about math making one's head explode.
Take your backpedaling and go back to your "math is hard" barbie dolls, little one.

Just take your lumps for trying to be an internet superhero and answering the guy's question wrong.
You're losing this one...badly.
I feel bad because you were so proud of yourself after that first post! I hated to burst your bubble, but felt like you needed the lesson more.

That's the problem with current schooling. It's all about memorising formula to regurgitate in an exam.
You should be learning about first principles and deriving what you need from that.
I'm thankful of computers such that we, the general population who know what we're doing, don't always have to rely on failed regurgitation for the rest of the populace.
