Edited by: Solstice Project on 14/04/2011 09:23:06 Greetings. o/
Before i submit a bugreport, i wanted to tell you this and ask which category is appropriate.
I never know (petition or bug report) in which category stuff should get postet ... maybe the language barrier. ^^
Basically, i'm in a lowsec system and looked up ... ... small gravity capacitor upgrades ... ... just to find out it's one signed doubleword jumps away. ^^
Is this a known issue ? And what's the appropriate category for it ? (There's no "Market"-Category ^^)
Thx. :)

Update.
Just jumped into another region. Same here ... the major tradehub is 21bla jumps away, altough it's actually maybe eight or nine jumps.
wtf ?

Edited by: Othran on 14/04/2011 10:14:45 You've set the autopilot to avoid low-sec/some systems (or similar) and the AP can't find a route. That's the normal cause of this "feature".
Edit - note that you don't actually need to be using the AP for this to happen, number of jumps to the item is calculated by your AP preferences.

Somebody ingame told me that too, but my AP is set to the shortest route, ignoring the secstatus completely.
I doublechecked that.

Is the system you are trying to go to in the "avoid" list in the autopilot? Or perhaps the only way to it is through one of the systems you have in that list. (I think Jita is on that list by default)

Destination system being on the "avoid" list makes no difference. By telling the AP to go to that system you override the avoid list - otherwise none of the newbies would ever get to Jita as its the only default entry on the list
It has to be either :
1) AP set to avoid certain sec and there is no way around that sec; 2) AP set to avoid a system and there is no way around that system; 3) A new bug

Edited by: Solstice Project on 15/04/2011 07:21:02 Okay, i checked again and found it out now.
I had "avoid systems with recent podkills" checked and that's what gave me the 2147bla jumps in the market. This doesn't really make any sense to me, that's why i didn't realize an connection.
Unchecking it shows the normal distance, like eight jumps etc.
This still seems a bit borked (it's the marketwindow anyway), but i apologize for the inconvinience.
And thx a lot for the help. :)

The number of jumps still has to be calculated by the AP which is how this sort of stuff happens.
You're not the first to get bitten on the bum by this, nor will you be the last
