Bullet points are fun and easy.
Who we are: - Well, Reasonable People. Says most of it all, really. - Interested in all aspects of EVE, meaning that sometimes we mine, sometimes we build, sometimes we go into WH's, sometimes we PvP and sometimes we spin around in stations and do our own thing while having pleasant conversations about the game. - A corp that focuses on building "cells" with our new recruits so they can work together in order to maximize their isk and materials. - Usually mature, usually intelligent people - Non-pirate - We got goals and plans like Cobra Commander, not like Shredder.
What we hope you are: - You're new(ish) to the game. You have more than 1.6 million skillpoints but less than 10 million, and have done the Sisters of Eve Epic Arc. Over 10 million skillpoints? Well if you're still over 10 mil and looking for a corp, you've either done everything a couple times already or you're a bitter old vet who somehow already hasn't found anyone that will put up with you. Judgments ho! - Reasonable individual. You don't throw emotional fits, you don't yell, you don't act like an idiot more than 1% of the time. - You're not obsessed with isk and are open to doing more with your materials than taking pennies on the value through market sell orders. - You're willing to share your limited API key, so we can spy on you and stuff. - Okay with a 5% corp tax, it helps pay for things. - You're down with relocation to our corporation bases of operations (Don't worry, we help with this). - Somewhat patient, at the very least, literate. You can manage reading text without falling asleep and having your eyes glaze over. Like this post. - You're not deathly allergic to PvP. - You're not deathly allergic to mining. - You can spell reasonably well. And uh, you're not dumb. There, we said it.
Of special note on things we're looking for: - All time-zones. We have a disdain for time-zone based corps, being that our corp leadership plays at random times, all the time and sometimes suffer from ridiculous shifts in sleep schedules. - Corp mergers. The way we set-up our corp is akin to having an assortment of little corps in our corp. So if you're running a little 1-6 man corp and things are frustrating, and you want to be a part of something a bit larger while still maintaining an identity with your current friends/corpmates, hit us up. - People who want to have their corp be a helpful community, and not a random assemblage of guys who kind of know who each other are and sometimes are asked to go blow up other random assemblages of guys who kind of know who each other are.
Anyways, if any of the above sounds good to you and you meet most of the things in the "What we hope you are" section, then perhaps you should hit us up for a conversation. Join our public chat channel "RITES" by clicking on the little text bubble icon called "open channel window" that sits to the top right of your chat window. Then put in RITES and hit "join." There's more information in that channel as well. We'll have a conversation and see if we're suitable for each other, see if you're not afraid of commitment and see if you will have our babies.

Because the letter J is super lame. All the other letters laugh at it for not being on the periodic table, especially the letter U, whose taunts are cruelest of all.

Ironically, this is the final test for getting into the corp. You have to fight a baby Tiger Shark. Pro-tip: Punch them in the throat really hard.

Did you know: It would take 1,200,000 mosquitoes, each sucking once, to completely drain the average human of blood.
All the more reason to play EVE so much that you get really fat, then it would take WAY more mosquitoes to even make a dent on you. Get fat with us today in RITES channel.

So I troll around for these stupid facts to use to bump this thread and ran across this gem...
"Did you know: The creosote bush, which grows in the Mojave, Sonoran, and Chihuahuan deserts, has been shown by radiocarbon dating to have lived since the birth of Christ. Some of these plants may endure 10,000 years, scientists say. If only they could talk."
IF ONLY THEY COULD TALK, EH? You know what they would say?
Dude: Hey bush, how's it going? Creosote bush: Man, I'm a bush. Dude: So bush, you've lived a long time. Got any thoughts on the world? Creosote bush: Not really, I'm just a bush, livin' in the desert.
Oh, the things that bushes would say.

Did you know: Most mosquito repellents don't repel. They hide you. They block the mosquito's sensors so they don't know you're there.
EVE kind of works the same way with women. Recruiting a couple more people for this recruiting cycle, especially could use a couple more Euros.

Did you know: Owls are the only birds who can see the color blue.
So the next time you see an Eagle, be sure to taunt him with this awesome fact: "You can't see blue, Eagle, I'm wearing blue, and you can't see it. You can see red, maybe, but not blue." then laugh at the Eagle, who can't see blue.
