Eddie Stobart..
Haulage mogul and the man who tuck his fathers little known business to one of the United Kingdoms most famous haulage firms, has sadly brought the farm at 56.
Dang...

I think my Dad knew him, but then I imagine that a lot of people knew him.

56 is quite a young age to go at... the Stobart badge is quite an iconic one in the UK
Thoughts go out to his family

I was surprised to see he was only 56, I wonder how the company will get on now because he made a massive success of his company when over the years haulage firm after haulage firm have gone under and times are getting even harder for them in the UK with the price of fuel and other financial pressures.

It seems that, like his trucks, he was limited to 56 as well...
I find it quite hard to get excited about the haulage industry but he was responsible for creating one of the most iconic brands seen on the roads of Britain. RIP chap.

NOOOOOooo...
My family always used to make a competition of counting Eddie Stobart trucks on our roadtrips round the uk. The trucks all had different female names, and we used to write them all down and collect them

They say that he died of a massive heart attack. I guess he woke up and saw the price of Diesel in the UK.
Poor guy, he was a legend who built one of the most iconic British brands in history. RIP.
