Honestly HOLY CRAP. 1.5 trillion isk has to have been lost there. CCP make a monument or something there with the title Super capital graveyard.

I propose the name: "RMT paradise".
It gives food for many 2nd and 3rd world workers to farm those supercaps back in 2 weeks and make a good wage to keep going with their families.

Hehe thats pretty good comparison actually. It was also in some econ devblog a while ago. A small note how there is more motherships in game than bl÷ack ops or electronic attack ships. Altho ofc their niche is not the major fleet battles as it is, but if at any given moment there is less pilots sitting in your cheaper end ship than are in titans then there is probably something wrong with these ships.

It's kinda sad really, killing a titan used to be a big deal, a factor that could fail cascade an alliance.
Today losing 2 dozen of em is like, meh whatever. It kinda lost it's magic, it's not supposed be for everyone and their dog.
According to the CAOD titan thread (slightly outdated) NC has a least 100 titans, and god how many super caps, not sure about DRF. I bet they both replaced them fast.
CCP should introduce a new ship, maybe a piloted mobile station at the price of at least 20 titans .

Capitals should have been designed to be the next tier up from command ships. They should do piddly damage and have excellent leadership bonuses.

Carriers should be ships other pilots can dock in, then undock where carrier cyno's to. Get rid of fighters and fighter bombers as they are major lag producers.

Nerf capital and super capital jump range and increase fuel consumption across the board to make them strategic assets that are very very costly in both time and isk to move any great distance. No moar lulz hotdropping caps on a cruiser gang from half the galaxy away and no more casual capital blobs for general offence. This would force alliances to actually use tactics to take out infrastructure with sub caps first as they slowly move the capitals in position to take over a system.

So the weekend is over but new weekend wont be far off, lets see what happens this next weekend. Where are all the 0.0 roaming gangs when you need them would be interesting to see what happens to the pilots who bail on the fight and jump into roaming gangs.

Time for a new type of ship. 5 times the size of a Titan with the destructive force of a supernova. Wipe out entire systems with a single AOE blast that destroyes everything but the ship that fires it. Not dockable or even able to enter a POS. Once the ships is built it stayes in the game whether there is a player in it or not. Player is not allowed to eject or leave said ship until it is destroyed. Allow smaller ships including supercaps to dock in it. Allow it to act as a station where goods can be bought and sold. Allow it to open it's own WH's to the...you know what? Screw it...just make something new and rediculously overpowered that will take months of build time and a trillion isk to build. Titans were supposed to be rare and hard to come by...now they are more common than drunken pot smokers that play EvE.

As it has been said before, cost should NEVER be used as a balancing point in relation to game design. Players always find a way to minimize cost and remove its effectiveness.
The only true way to make anything work well in the long term is to make sure anything that has powerful advantages also has powerful disadvantages. that would mean anybody actually being able to jump in/out system as last time i asked people who were trying to do that was causing them to have urge to open theire wrists with rusty razorblades while looking at black screen/crashing with no ability to log back in.
