Really? I've been gone for a couple years and thought I would peel the scab off this. No man ever got killed by his wife while giving her a footrub. Rubbing someone elses wife's feet, well... *Fill in the blank* |

Maybe the title of the thread should be NPC Corp :/
Npc corp = Newb corp

Everytime I see this topic I think of someone with an Internets Stalkers issue.

By essentially forcing people to play the way you want, you look like a complete jackass.
And he even fails at that.
The way forward for really bullying people not in player corps, would be to move them into FW corps. Simply say after xx days account age (yep, not char age), you get moved to FW corp instead. Same with leaving a corp without joining a new one, welcome to the militia son, you just volunteered.
But hey, maybe I should not give the devils minions inspiration...

Originally by: Lord Tempist Give everyone 3 months to find a corporation then make them form their own corporation in order to remain in business. 90 days should be long enough for someone to find a corporation they can work with, or make enough money to create your own. People use Newb corps as a shield to protect themselves from "The Game" and to exploit Alt Repping in combat etc. Take away their pilot license and make them stay docked until they form a corp of their own if they can't find any friends to take them.
And people use online games to protect themselves from the real game. Life. What are you scared of? fight! die! kill for something you believe in, is this what you believe in? whats ccp has put on your plate? Youre going to live and die for this? Put your money where your mouth is. Unsubscribe.

It should also move them to a dead end system in 0.0. To teach them a lesson. Otherwise they'll never learn. |

Yes, can everyone else in this thread achieve the mental leap required to understand what I am talking about? I call it what "I" call it. If "I" call you a "nit picker" are you going to argue that you are more closely resembling a curmudgeon or perhaps a forum troll? Because everyone knows "Nit Pickers" remove parasites from the body's of other people for them. Its a well known fact! No man ever got killed by his wife while giving her a footrub. Rubbing someone elses wife's feet, well... *Fill in the blank* |

Actually I was trying to clarify your speech so that you might actually get what you were asking for, instead of what CCP heard, which is nerf the half dozen or so new player corps.
But don't mind me - carry on with your imprecise terms - we'll try it your way and see what happens.
And by the way, nitpicking is specific to the removal of the eggs of lice, not parasites in general. But again, don't mind me. I'm just trying to be precise. --Vel

Getting rid on NPC "shelter" corps would definitely provide the players the opportunity to go after botting operations. Spent part of the day watching Bestower-bots cranking courier missions. Each and every one of them in an NPC corp. If they were subject to war-dec, it would be a feeding frenzy. I like the idea of the conscription-type NPC corp after a set period of account days.

I love these threads where someone decides on my behalf how the game should be played, then descends into flights of fantasy about how to enforce his/her narrow little view. It is like real life and socialists. Any online attempt to enforce such nonsense would be just about as successful as all those failed real world socialist economies. Proud to be a CareBear |

was ganking changed in the latest patch? want to hide in npc, gank them. I know its not as fun and profitable especially with 3-6 month old players whose shiniest stuff might be high meta gear like arbelests (which dropped in price I know...used to be a real nice drop to get) but where theres a will theres a way.
Complaining about neut logi's....nice touch. Should have went for neut fleetboosters too...gankers never use them either .

This is just another in a long series of people attempting to make people play in a way that makes them vulnerable.
You know what would happen if CCP were to do that? More than half would quit the game rather than pay to be forced to play it another way.
The truth is the only way Eve will grow in popularity beyond where it is now is to be more bear friendly, not more harsh. Right now Eve has a reputation as being noob unfriendly. Making changes like that will only do more harm than good.

You have fallen for my well laid trap. Eggs of Parasites are no less parasites than the parasites which laid them. You lose. Epic fail! *Raspberries* No man ever got killed by his wife while giving her a footrub. Rubbing someone elses wife's feet, well... *Fill in the blank* |
