Hi,
i'm wanting to go on the fw mission running business, but what is the best faction to do so ? I will be using a mober + inty setup. Is there faction whoses lp worth more ? Faction with easier or harder missions ?

Edited by: Goose99 on 06/03/2011 21:56:49 Caldari FW LP is both highest value and easiest to sell due to demand, plus rats are the easiest, enough to be done easily in lone sb, no inty. Use 2x sb instead.

Don't join Amarr, the rats tend to be hardest to handle. In any case sbs won't get caught in lowsec unless you do something wrong, so I don't see any point.

It's true that catching a semi-competent pve bomber is basically impossible (sometimes the lag gods favor you though). But with any luck he'd get interested in getting some fights too. Amarr are massively lacking in the US TZ atm so, yeah. Recruiting drive for amarr!

You get roughly 70km range with the torps and those two rigs. You mitigate damage by kiting everything at 50km or more as the Gal rats can't hit a barndoor over 40-50km. The SEBO is there as the Gallente use lots of sensor dampening so you just need to make sure you can target them. The shield extender is there as a bit of a buffer, as without it you can make one mistake and you will die. If you feel really confident swap it for another SEBO.
Do the combat missions that have a single completion target, i.e. blow up reactor, kill commander etc... otherwise decline them and get another. You blitz the missions, don't kill everything, take as many missions as you can at one time and plan route through hostile space. I never bothered collecting tags as the ISK is in the faction ships, implants, and ammo. The quicker you finish the mission the better as the longer you stay in the same system the easier you will be to be interrupted by hostiles.
Bear in mind that the market is quite saturated with Navy Scorps/Caracals etc... The only ship worth working toward are Navy Ravens as they always sell...
EDIT: note that each factions stealth bomber gets a bonus to a single damage type. You lose 200 raw DPS using a different type. Gal rats are nearly as susceptible to Kin damage as much as they are to therm as I noticed little difference between running a manti over a nemesis... You can't say the same for Min/Amarr rats though... --

Then why did you jump over to the minnies? If you stayed with Amarr Militia, you would have had more targets right???
