Hi, I've carefully watched incursions spawning and disappearing for the last week, and this is what i found: Incursions that are in highsec are completed in a few hours whereas those in lowsec and 0.0 stay around for days and usually expire without being completed.
What does this say ? People want PVE in highsec, not 0.0 or lowsec. Maybe CCP should stop trying to force people to play one or the other way and instead give them more of what they want. More PVE content and challenges for highsec. As immediate measure, move level 5 missions to highsec, give more incursions in highsec. As distant goal, develop new challenging PVE stuff for highsec (with the new NPC AI, that actually gets people killed), as this is the type of content, that people OBVIOUSLY like most.

The reason why the 0.0 incursions are not finished is because they are deep in bot..I mean...russian space.

Or you could drag your lazy carebearing buttocks out to low-sec and 0.0 and start playing the 'real' game.

What I have learned is that us so called high sec incursion carebears can take these 5 run capital gear bpc's that make meta 2 capital items and sell them for 20x their value to 0.0 titan / mom blob pilots.
Oh wait?

Real game in 0.0 being "make sure you have at least 300 more in your blob than the other guys?"

We could have told you all this long before incursions were even in the planning stages. It's not necessarily an indication what or where people like PvE content the most though. Most characters simply live in highsec and it is very tightly populated compared to other areas. All activities there are low/no risk operations, so more of the population will at least try it. Faster completion of incursions in highsec was always to be expected.
That doesn't mean that content shouldn't be spread equally to other areas or that content from other areas needs to always be available in highsec too. It's risk free to do things there, so naturally there must be limitations how things work there and what activities are available.
I'm not arguing against providing more interesting PvE content for highsec. Quality content in whatever form is always welcome. I'm just saying not to concentrate on it, since then you are creating a barrier preventing people to move out of highsec. Just because I live at a 0.0 station doesn't mean I wouldn't prefer my PvE to be varied, interesting, challenging and lucrative. Quality PvE has to be available in as many places as possible and the rewards adjusted in a way, so taking risks pays more. Providing content for highsec is just fine as long as you keep things in balance.

What exactly are you being "forced" to do? You don't have to do the Incursion content, and if one comes to your constellation and muck up your jump bridges and cynos, get over it and use something else OR clear out the Sansha and go back to happy fun time NAP cancer and botting.

I agree. I tried life in 0.0 while an old corp I was in was in CO2, didn't like 1 second of 0.0. Mainly because I just couldn't afford it.

What people want is to play WoW. Most people anyway. Not most people in this forum, but most people. This is a proven fact.
Obviously, CCP can't give this to their players. You should talk to the guys at Blizzard instead. Or just get a WoW account. I heard it's not that hard.
So the only problem we are talking about here is that a few people (an insignificant minority) are playing the wrong game. Why? We don't know. Maybe their attention span is too short to read the description and reviews of a game before entering their credit card information. Maybe they are just plain dumb. Who cares? They are paying subscriptions for keeping my game up and running.

Bots will whine if you interrupt the ISK flow. 0.0 carebears will whine if you interrupt the easy mode.
There, thats all there is to it.

here is what i dont get, people always moan about Hi sec PVEers and how they have an easy ride and how they should be forced to do PVP and make it easier for people attack them in hi sec,
it seems some people just want more and more on one hand they want to force a way of play on others and on the other they dont want a way of play forced on them.

If the sites didn't cyno jam 0.0 alliances would drop their caps on the site and finish it. At the same time they probably wouldn't because cyno jamming is the only reason to take out the site.
Rewards need to be tweaked to allow any sized gang to fight a site but at varying rewards.

If you can't "afford" life in 0.0 you are doing something terribly wrong... Doing anoms I'd make 100m a day and then I'm not even trying very hard to do it ... Pity ratting is just as boring as missions

Yes, he runs no Bots.
Must be cool to camp some random gate all day long while your bot makes money *sig*.
