I'm doing SoE missions trying to raise my Gallente standings to get them to stop shooting me. So far I'v gotten 1 Storyline out of maybe 40 missions. How do I get more Storyline missions?

SoE missions work the same way as every other corp - one storyline for every 16 missions.
I don't know exactly what you are doing wrong, but it's something.
The only thing I can think of is that wherever you are doing your regular missions has no SoE storyline agent nearby, so you get shunted to the closest 'other' storyline mission. I can't confirm this, though, because every SoE mission set I have ever done has referred me to a SoE storyline agent.

SoE has its own faction. Every storyline will be SoE, not another faction.

are you running more than one soe corp? Missions have to be in the same corp and soe has 2 if not 3 iirc. SOE proper and the food one come to mind.
Also depending on how far you goe with SOE, hope you didn't trash minmatar standing. The SOE level 4 agent in gicodel will send you deep into minmatar space.

Not exactly. The missions need to be the same level, but not within the same corp. SoE does have 2 corps, but it shouldn't matter which one he's running for as long as they're the same level missions.
Oh yeah, about my sig... you have now read it.

SOE epic arc gives missions from multiple factions. only Sisters will give more than 16 missions, which means there will only be SOE storyline offered. ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

Edited by: Resender on 31/01/2011 10:26:29 The answer and question might be simpler. SoE is like all factions so they give out a storyline every 16 completed/accepted missions, If you forego a mission because you don't like it (So either denying it, or saying to your agent you don't want to continue) the counter is reset to 0.
SO if you do 14 missions and cancel the 15, the number of missions counted toward the next storyline will be 0. Also the last mission (15th or 16th) level determines the level of the storyline mission.

that is not true. declining offered mission or quitting accepted mission has no effect on storyline counter. only completed missions count. i decline plenty of missions, and i have quit accepted missions recently. neither had any effect on storyline counter.
also, storyline are offered for specific faction and level. that is, once 16 missions of specific level are completed for specific faction, a storyline is offered for that specific level and faction. any other mission level or faction combination, has it's own counter, and there is no interaction. ________________________________ : Forum Bore 'Em : Foamy The Squirrel - [jedi handwave] "There is no spoon." |

That is incorrect. The counter will still keep track of missions completed, even if you decline a few of the missions that are offered.

I think he really wanted to say that if you refuse the storyline then you have to do yet another set of missions to have a chance at one again. He just missed the count since you need to do 15 missions in order to receive a storyline.
