Now i get to post my own thread about eve glitches ^^
The problem is: whenever i minimize eve from fullscreen I get weird psychedelic colors on my desktop and any other window. The colors show up only with eve on fullscreen and only after a few minutes from start of eve. Entering windowed mode (either alt+enter, or changing settings to windowed/fixed border) or closing eve solves the issue.
A photo of the issue: Linky (and no, the screenshot doesn't capture the colors, it shows everything normal). Note, that color for the foremost window background should be black with light gray/white text (standard putty terminal colors).
Not that it bothers me much, just interested to see if anyone else is having this "problem".
Now, my bet is that this has something to do with ATI's bug when screen goes dark, since both are caused by eve client running in fullscreen and being minimized.
Ninja update (forgot to post the specs):
System: DELL Studio 1535 laptop;
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit;
GPU: Intel GMA X3100 (Intel 965GM express series);
Chipset: Intel Crestline-GM (965GM express);
CPU: Intel Core 2 Due T5750;
RAM: 4 GB DDR-2 800MHz

I'm getting the same issue when I switch to my desktop. Only way I can fix the issue is when I reboot my Computer.

I'm getting the same issue as well.
Every time I alt tab out of EvE or close the game out entirely, I get a screen that looks just like the link above. Shutting down my laptop works, but so does hitting CTL ALT DEL and hitting cancel once it pops up.

Speaking of CTRL ALT DEL - this does also fix the ATI dimmed desktop issue as well.

Im getting the same problem with a totally different system. Windows XP with ATI graphics.
Filed a bugreport, was being told to upgrade to newer driver but that didnt change anything at all.

I have the same problem... ALT TABBING to desktop and back to the client and vice versa gives the psychodelic colours. However I only see the psychodelic colours for a second or so before it put itself right.
A recent patch introduced this issue, as I could alt tab all day before and never encounter anything like this. Ive only encountered the display dimming bug once but I have experienced that also.

same here, i reset the screen by either changing the screen res (long) or right click the desktop then
graphics options > rotation > normal
and even tho the rotation is set as normal it resolves the wierdness

yep, same here. intel integrated gfx, too (chipset p45 i believe). fix it by changing desktop resolution

CCP told me its a intel problem. Play in window mode (ALT ENTER) other workarounds didn't work for me
