Patch Notes: "Ships which are jumping to a cynosural field located close to a starbase forcefield will now land at a slightly increased distance of up to 15km. This means that pilots will have a slightly increased travel time to get to safety within a starbase."
A HUGE F-you to anyone not flying a super capital (assuming they mean outposts. If they mean POS, then a huge F-you to all cap pilots).

A Starbase is a PoS. (Player owned Starbase)
So it effects all Capital pilots equally. Either way, this isn't exactly a 'Big F-U' from CCP. More like a slight change that won't matter too much in the grand scheme of things. Calm down, grow up and get on with life.

I imagine it's to take away a bit of safety. Anyone else find themselves within docking radius or inside POS shields the majority of the times they cyno in?

Finally a change that doesn't make the game easier. I wish it'd apply to all jump drive-ships, at both stations and poses. Sort of like how you could only warp to 15 before there were any jump drives, but with out any instas. Had there never been ny instas, i'd wager we'd still be warping to 15 on gates aswell.
Whats possibly bad about it? Parrots, commence!

Capitals not being able to cyno 100% safely. Thats outrageous for a supposedly cruel and harsh game universe.

dont know why people assume outposts when it says starbase forcefield. last i checked stations dont have forcefields unless ive been missing it all this time. It is impossible to pod Chuck Norris. |

Indeed, supercaps need more ability for easy riskfree ganks for the cruel and harsh game universe.

It's only risk free if the capital that's cynoing in without eough scouting or backup isn't bait. No idea why you'd avoid all three of those. Parrots, commence!

If CCP really did that, I have renewed some of my respect for them.
It's about time the super-safe cap travel got a little dangerous, tho this change is hardly significant in majority of situations.
If a big hostile blob is camping your POS, don't jump to it. Simple.

Well, I jumped to within dock range of a station twice today. Worked exactly as it always has. Jumped to a POS once but didn't notice any difference in distance to POS. But I also don't try slow boating into the shield, I always warp off instead.
Thus far you shall read, but no further; for this is my sig. |

What if that about stations anyway? The patch notes talk about POS, stations don't have a forcefield ffs With average cap you can just warp off quick by webbing them from cynoship, the supercaps got another risk, serves them right, there are too many anyway. |

That's an exploit so unless you're in IT Alliance, CCP will ban for that if someone sees it and petitions.

Ask yourself this: do outposts have forcefields?

I do. If you don't want to be blown up, don't jump blindly into a system, and make sure your corpmates are there to defend you if nessicary. Hell, all you need is 1 or 2 falcon alts. ---

Place the cyno further away from the forcefield, so that the pilots land closer to the f'field??

All ships enter warp faster when webbed genius. Not an exploit just a side effect of being webbed.

Surely this is more of a supercap nerf than anything else, since who the hell jumps a super to anything but a POS or a fight?
