Hi!
Since the new patch is released I have grafic problems. The monitor becomes blurred and completly red/pink after leaving the eve-online programm with the windows-button or by quiting the programm.
I used a Lenovo x201 Tablet
Windows 7 (64-bit) Driver: Intel HD Graphics Driver Version: 8.15.10.2253 (newest version)
Thanks

Edited by: Hahaishoty0u on 18/01/2011 21:36:25 I'm having graphic problems with everything but eve as well.
When I alt tab out of game my brightness is BELOW minimum. The same shade that comes up when certain system messages appear if that makes sense. If I close EVE via any means besides the in game method I have to restart my computer to lose the effect.
Dell Inspiron Windows 7 (64 bit) Graphics Driver: ATI mobility Radeon HD 4300 Series version: 8.632.1.2000
*Edit: I am using full screen mode*

While this doesn't solve the problem, a temporary solution I've found is to Switch User and log back in to your account in Windows. If using 7/Vista, it should reload your graphics preferences and restore you to normal working order. --- I just can't figure it out. If only I could pew pew with my mining laz0rs and make you go boom.... THAT would be the best of both worlds. |

I also have this problem with my ATI 5800 /win 7 computer. All other open applications are running in a reduced brightness mode. I had to restart windows to return to normal. I am not 'tech savvy' enough to trouble-shoot this problem.

I've had the same problem; after starting EVE, when I alt-tab back to Windows everything is chunky and pink; alt-tabbing back to EVE reveals it still looks fine.. My temporary fix has been to change my screen resolution from 1366x768 to 1360x768.

ATI issues is a Driver issue just update to the newest catalyst.
As for the Alt tab and blocky pink screen. don't think thats been worked around yet? Try running in window mode for the moment. -------------------------------- http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1370931&page=1 ------ |

I used to have this topic before the patch if i changed the colour depth or buffers or something. That option is now gone from the ingame settings menu.
Now am having the total lack of brightness issue. All the time, its really bugging me, i dont think its a driver issue.
But a temporary fix is to hit ctrl + alt + del. Just bring up the option screen with change user, task manager etc. Then close the menu, when you are back on desktop its all good again. Dont need to switch user.

I am also having this problem, but in game as well. If I move the screen in any way it almost blacks out to the point that its hard to see. Also "cntrl Q" does not let me exit the game. I have to press esc then log out that way. Any ideas as to what is causing this. All my drivers are up to date. I checked befor posting this. This space reserved for something witty..... |

Temporary solution.
Its a problem with aero theme in windows 7. So changing to "windows 7 basic" can solve this issue for a while.
