What's going on with 1600mm Tungsten Plates ???
Since Incursion patch the price have been decreasing steadily (more than 1m ISK). What am I missing? or its just the Noctis = more ppl salvaging = more ppl looting

Sansha's are Armor tanks.. I believe their drop table is full of 1600mm plates.

i don't think incursions will drop any loot.
the reward is concord LP.
but yes, sansha in general are full of plates... no reason to believe those would increase though unless something happened in the southern region to encourage more ratting, or more amarr missioning etc.
maybe more people salvaging, less people armor tanking...
or more likely, someone dropped inventory onto the market to get out of a big position.

I've been attributing it to decreased demand. More drake blobs, less armor-BS blobs.

I'm not really sure how it works, but maybe ccp just had the rats start dropping more of them. -Cearain

Noctis makes looting more efficent. Add in that it seems like they are dropping more as well just like the MWD's. Also more shield based stuff flying around these days. You have more supply, less demand. It wont be long before they are down to mineral prices like a lot of other meta 4 mods these days. Cruiser/BC loot is more where the money is at now. It could just be that the purpose of your life is to server as a warning to others. |

It's a combination of a few factors. Really this is affecting all meta 4 loot tbh.... expect to see a lot of meta 4 stuff slowly decline in price for a while til it finds it's new stable price.
1) Noctis makes looting/salvaging far easier than in the past. Thus far more people are looting/salvaging their missions and more stuff is getting looted/salvaged in belts in 0.0 as well. Thus more meta 4 loot is hitting the market.
2) Specifically affecting RT Plates: More drake/shield gangs and, as others have mentioned, fewer BS blobs as the drake gang is much easier to do. So slightly less demand.
3) Drop rates on RT Plates did increase slightly I think. I definitely get them a bit more often than I used to ever since June when they changed the loot tables. It's not a huge increase but there's definitely an increase.

Loot tables changed in tyrannis, most high meta level stuff started seeing a small decline in price and increase in volume but it was balanced by people giving up on looting stuff to refine. Noctis appears makes salvaging easy and the bears go at it again.
There has not been an increase in botting you just suck. Also blame drakes.

Edited by: Don Kartel on 13/01/2011 17:14:01 Major alliances are now adopting sheild buffer fits plain and simple.
Look at the price of 1400mm howitzer II's they have doubled in price as a result of the new maelstom fits that are being adopted. Also anything else sheild related has probably increased in price due to the increased demand.
Most amarr/Gal/armor related modules/rigs no doubt have seen a similar decrease. Trimark pumps for example ?

Certainly the price of meta 4 medium shield extenders did go up. I thought it may be the loot tables but it might be demand as stated here.
Can players have access to these "loot tables"? -Cearain

Funny you say that, I petitioned few 23/7 0.01 iskers and suddenly they stopped logging in _completely_ just after I got my petition reply.

You found a market bot != an increase in market bots.

The market bot that was running 1600 RRT was Chuuuy. He would change the price of 30+ orders at a time in one single refresh, and update orders every 30-60 seconds. No surprise after a petition or two he was banned. Even CCP has to be capable of admitting someone is a bot with enough certainty to ban when they exceed the bounds of what is humanly possible.

Apparently it's humanly possible to rat 23/7 for weeks on end.

Well goon & IT fleet doctrine these days are shield fleets.
And others are following them. Havent seen a lot of armor BS setups in use by 0.0 groups lately, except for the PL hellcat setups but they dont get wiped out as often as the blobbers arty maels.
So it might affect demand a bit. Same way you see that price of Large artillery guns are rather high these days.
