Hi I'm running Amarr lvl 4 missions with this setup on my navy apoc and i'm looking for advice on improving the setup. I've only come back in last week after a year or 2 away from the game so am a bit rusty
current setup is
8x mega pulse II (26km optimal with conflag)
Tracking computer II 2x Cap recharger II Republic Fleet 100 MN Afterburner
Tracking Enhancer II 3x missions specific harderners II (sometimes 4 depending on mission) 3x Imperial Navy Heatsinks Ammatar Navy LAR
3xCCC
Cap lasts 3 mins with all running, or 6 mins without afterburner on but i rarely get so low on cap i worry
I dont have tech 2 drones which is an obvious area to improve i guess but i usually only use the drones on frigates i cant hit so dont know much benefit using them on bigger ships offers
Without the drones EFT reckons i have 900 dps and i'm getting through missions relatively quickly. Gave most of my cash away when i last stopped playing so i cant afford very expensive improvements yet.
So any obvious and cheapish improvements i can make? Am considering binning the AB for another tracking computer maybe
Eventually I'd like to change ship for a paladin or nightmare but will need some skill training first. Do either of these offer a noticeable improvement?
Thx for any advice, sorry if this has been asked before but i couldnt find any navy apoc setups listed in the setup thread

Not much to upgrade unless you feel like putting 600+ mil into it.
Personally i recomend the paladin if you like the apoc, a paladin with tachs is fit in a similar way but without the need for a AB.
I dont really like the NM myself, I never got the taste for active shield tanks and when in amarr space, the rats tend to use Em/therm and that make armor stronger.
You might try a shadow serpentis tracking comp and some cheap implants to increase your damage? Maybe drop the AB for a second tracking comp?

I love my paladin and nightmare, both are good goals to have, and imo a step up from the navy apoc. I fit both with tachyons, do about 1k dps out to 50km.
the navy apoc is a pretty nice ship. and ~30km effective range with conflag, well that sounds like some nice npc wtf bbq action. looks pretty optimally fit to me.
as for the ab/tc, I'd say it is situational depending on the mission, there are a few missions where it is nice to have the ab, but most missions I'd rather have an extra tc on the ship.
