So what's the best way to join FW to play eve legitamatly. i.e. kill people and not be immedietly thought of as a spy and have cops like Wolfsbrigade hire pirate mercs to pod you in tama?
I've heard nothing but bad things about FW entry requirements. Which is sort of backwards because it WAS SUPPOSED to be for entry level pvp before people started taking their internet spaceships to seriously.
Clearly the Caldari are the worst with this minus draketrain who seem to want to kill things. Bur there are bad ones in every single faction. This is just based on easily ataainable info in game out of militia or on the forums.
Please in this thread to me and potential new fw participants a guide to not be strip searched, anal ****d, teamkilled, then told to uninstall eve when trying to play fw.

well sounds like you met the wrong poeple tbh, ive not heard of any account of FW like this honestly.
join with the standard non player run FW corp, and then put an app in to the best/nicest/whatever fw player corp that you get on with.
A lot of the FW corps dont run with the general fw riff raff because they are the newbs who will get you killed with bad intel or skills and be totally oblivious to their trail of destruction in their rear view mirriors, much like eldery drivers actually ^^

Paranoia is bound to catch up to you at some point in Faction Warfare, that's just the nature of this beast. Generally speaking, joining up with the main NPC faction corporation and racking up kills as best you can is a good start.
When I am considering a new applicant, I look for things like people skills, fleet experience, kills (and who they were for and the people involved in those kills), its also common for several corporations to request API keys. Everything you do in EVE from the people you kill, to the corporations you've been in/ time you've been in those corporations tell an invisible story about you, whether true or not.
Your corporation history is a commonly scrutinized aspect of your profile, so any past employment in a hostile corporation will certainly raise the suspicion level. This can be worked around by letting at least a month go by in a neutral corporation before applying for a position in a corp of the opposite faction.
Have a level head when applying for a corporation in Faction Warfare, anticipate questions that may arise because of past exploits, be truthful and hope for the best. While some will be overly critical of you, others will be excepting. Research the quality of a corporation before applying as well. Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to how they play EVE, from drama llama lovers to pure pvp activist, you can find everything you are looking for in FW.
So in short, Research research research, email a regular of a corporation to find out the prerequisites, try your best to meet those standards if that particular corporation is what you are looking for.

It seems you have gotten some of your information from bad sources. We have never hired mercs against anyone, and I'm sure we'll never start hiring them against a single person, at least not with the current directorate. And in Tama? We love to kill pirates, wt & wd's in Tama ourselves, why should we pay someone to have the fun?
Furthermore we provide training for any member who wants it, new and old.
Now as for joining the corporation. Go to our website , fill in the application form, have an interview with First General, and it is taken from there.
Best regards Zeerover Director - Wolfsbrigade
And whoever gave you the idea that we don't kill things? The Caldari killboard is open for all to see.

Funny that a character whom went by the name Diklik appears to be bio-massed whom also had silly rants about Caldari Militia & FW in general.. Now this guy comes along as a 3 day account with almost same rants..
Oh wait.. could he be a spy or a troll?

It's actually deceptively simple.
Join a well known, decent corp. Then, never read the forums or local chat.
All the pewpew, none of the ****ing contests.

Greetings:
I tend to be slow; and it took me several months of research, asking a lot of questions (sometimes over and over again because I can be dense), about FW before I got up the guts to join.
Yes, the spy paranoia is on the high side; but the more kills you rack up against war targets with zero kills of friendlies, the more and more you will be taken when you x up.
Until then, you do plexes where you limit what type of ships the WT can bring to you. I've taken out interceptors in a destroyer in a friendly plex. Get your standings up and do FW missions for ISK. Once you can fly a stealth bomber the missions become easier mainly since you can hide easier when war targets and pirates want to gank you. That plus taking out a battle ship with 8 to 10 torpedoes (less than 2 minutes) to complete a mission is nice.
Once you start proving your trust by killing war targets and pirates, fw player run corporations will take an interest in you. There's also T.R.I.A.D., run by Dendar, who (if you don't have a bad record to start in terms of any past kills or security status), accepts new and casual players.
For me, FW is nice because you can bring among the cheapest of frigates and still do great; most of my kills are in a rifter. When you get more comfortable, and have the isk, you can fly what ships yo don't mind losing.
Thank you.
P.S. I recommend the Minmatar militia for the least headaches.

I have an alt that I want to join Caldari Milita, he has 0.09 standing.
What can I do to get in as fast as possible? My social skills are up. I clicked the militia button and it says I need .50 standing to join...is there another way? ----------------------------------- They see me trollin... |

Type "eve datacenter" into google. Do all 3 graduation certificate missions. Then there are 3 someone ofother tags mission at each to, copper tags.
If your standings aren't high enough do the minmattar datacenters to that also raises caldari.

The Advanced Combat Career Path mission chain was awarding fast track certificates for FW last time I ran them for teh lulz.
The Career Path chains themselves give you a good deal of standing as well. I was getting around a .1 boost for each chain IIRC.
