This is a warning to any new player condidering joining FW. I can not urge this enough, do not join it find a corp doing pvp anywhere but in FW.
I myself and several of my friends have had the following experiences.
Tried to join a Caldari FW corp. Asked for the APIs to all of his accounts. Forced to give full API to the corp forum in order to put in a page log app. Could not join because they still thought he was an alt.
One joined a different Caldari corp and soon realized that even though he was in a corp. People still thought he was a probable spy and probably would for the rest of his natural eve life. Even after 6 months they still thought he was a potential spy and several others he joined with. They were only given the first level of intel channels and were constantly spy tested and excluded from supar sekret fleets.
Friend joined Amarr, they assumed he was a spy but didn't care as much he said. His first fleet in his Harbinger and several others followeing it he got multiple super capitals dropped on him. Wtf is that? Also, when one was running a plex a blue jumped into next to him followed by 5 red dramiels warping to the blue who was a spy with 5 red friendsand promptly slaughtered.
Another friend joined mattar. He actually wasn't asked to give a API . But he had only joined a semi RP corp on accident that's probably why. Anyway he was constantly blobbed by 30man heavy gangs in his rifter. Another case of srrs dudez srrz about their killboard in fleet warfare.
I haven't met anyone who tried to join Gal. Except, pretty much everyone in the super sekkret intell channels seems to have spies in Gal.. so wtf... probably riddled with spies and paranoia to. But the accounts of Caldari, amarr and mattar were confirmed by others in that order. Meaning many Caldari stories and slightly less mattar.
Moral of the story FW is ****ing ridiculous. In Caldari you will need full APIs and people will think youre a spy anyway. Join Amarr and people will think youre a spy to but they won't care as they are most likely spys themselves and are going to kill you. Join any of them and be dropped on with dozens of supercaps because faction warfare is srs business.

Draketrain is recruiting.
No need for API.
And whining about getting blobbed by super caps, it is how EVE is now, no matter where you are (excluding highsec).

Is this a troll? I will bite. You are complaining about things that are common place in 0.0 API BTW will not stop someone who has more than one account. Adapt or become a highsec Concord pet. One a side note...Stereo typing and entire faction because a couple corps ask for something is kinda Ehhh

So basically what you are saying is that you have all these, imaginary, friends who joined all these different FW factions, when in reality it was you who faction/corp hopped them all, and then you were surprised that they thought you were a spy.
Longevity and active participation builds trust. Doesn't matter where you go, whether it's FW, lowsec, nullsec, it's always the like that.

Let's see. My FW experience in the amarr militia has gone like this:
1) Formed 1 man corp to farm militia missions. 2) Decided to join a random ass fleet once. 3) Had fun. 4) Joined a real milita corp (amarrian retribution) 5) Killed a hundred or so minnies. 6) Got invited to most of the intel channels. 7) Started dropping capitals. 8) Got invited to the capitals channel. 9) Continued the slaughter and enjoyed it. 10) Well, that actually brings us to this morning.
Thus far you shall read, but no further; for this is my sig. |

Edited by: Mutnin on 18/12/2010 23:15:23 FW is full of tards but it still offers a decent amount of PVP action and then of course the other perks. The key to FW is to stay away from the blobs and just use it as extra people to shoot.
That's all we do, just hit targets of opportunity around low sec, be it FW targets, pies or just unlikely passer byes. If you don't mind going GCC (don't have to stay flashy) and can fly decent fit BC's then hit me up in game and we can talk.. (won't be online til Mon US TZ)
We are looking for a few more members that don't mind doing a bit of piracy and aren't bothered at being out numbered. Small gang is where it's at, screw the blob tards, they did you a favor by calling you a spy..
btw WTF do the general Militia tards, care about spies anyway? Most of the big corps on both Caldari and Gallente are already like BFF's blobbing up together, to kill pies any chance they can.

Edited by: Xuthi on 19/12/2010 00:35:54 Edited by: Xuthi on 19/12/2010 00:33:41 I was in caldari fw for a few months and had a great time. sure theres alot of spy talk in general miltia, but do you honestly expect to just instantly get invited to every intel chan there is upon joining? be realistic. You need to get out there, get get some kills on the caldari killboard and not be one of those moaning fgts who sits in high sec nourvakeiken(spelling) all day long *****ing in miltia about the lack of fleets, because that isnt going to get you anywhere. I saw Gallante use caps once whilst I was there and caldari never, though I was only in it for a few months. no clue about amarr / min.
either way it was fun and I met alot of cool guys, on both sides.

There is no restriction on who can join FW, which means there can be a lot of derp. But there's still cool corps and stuff in FW. I'm very happy with my current position in it, and I can't see myself leaving anytime soon.

Played for all factions never have a problem. some epeens in every faction, but most are cool. Seen alot of guys jump sides on the amarr/matar front over the last year. Again no one cares, just be loyal to whoever you are fighting for and leave old info channels without being asked. Spent less time on the gall/cald front, but the guys I talked to were all cool. Only real problem are the grifers who join a faction just to get free blue kills.
"Am I still GCC? Maybe thier overview is bugged! Why are they locking my pod?" Yeah set there more than once after a blue popped my ship. Some people never learn.
