So I just bought a small pos with the intention of either sticking it in a wormhole or finding a nice little moon to mine in losec/npc nullsec for a little while until i get bored or broke. Any suggestions besides selling the small pos and getting a medium one? I've got some bpos i could possibly do some research on or something as well.
Also, for moon mining, I'm sure all the good moons are taken, but are there any reasonable moons that will at least make a bit of profit in npc nullsec areas like the great wildlands or something?
If i set up in a wormhole ill probably be using it as a base for corp sleeper running and mining. Scavcorp! for all your professional salvaging needs! |

You will have a difficult time defending a small POS in lowsec. You will have a marginally less difficult time defending it in a wormhole. - NEVER PVP SOBER. |

I'd really advise against a small POS in a WH.
Get a medium one and do PI and run sites, mining only leads to heartbreak unless you have keen scouts watching your exit. Get some Amarr PI alts to bring in some nice cash.
I've actually grown to look forward to running sites now in my C1, when the Russians don't get them first. It's a nice little earner if you are set up or it.

If you enjoy not being shot at, do not combine these two. Small POSes are laughably easy to reinforce, and many (read: ALL) wormhole corps will shoot at one just on the off chance that it mught not be stronted.

^^ True story. My (very small) corp has a large tower in a C5. I have a small tower the next moon over that I run a lab and some small time manufaturing (mostly missles drons ect we use so I don't have to haul them in). We have people from other WH in often (like all the damn time) which is part of the fun of a WH.... but haveing to get on the bat phone and call in the corp fleet to chase off the dreadnot trying to eat my small tower is less fun:P

Small POSes are perfectly well for solo or small gang wormhole eating.
Little cost and fill it full with stront and you will have 24 hours where you can pack up your loot and get out.
You make back the isk you put out on the POS(about 150~200 mil) in a night or even just a few hours even in a C2.
Plop the POS down with a weeks worth of fuel, farm the hole for a week, pack it all up and move to the next one. ________________________________________________ Tau - Yeah we suck in close combat. To bad you will never get there. For the greater good!!

Haven't they fixed that now, so that you can't take items out of a corp hangar array if it is offline?

Hmm... maybe a small POS, some small laser batteries, a webber, full stront, and a corp hanger. That could work ok for raiding a C1 wormhole.
I say C1 because you won't face any battleships. You'll have to worry about battlecruisers and stealth bombers. The small lasers and webbers should hopefully, keep the bombers away meaning only a very determined battlecruiser fleet would be the worry.
Now I'm not saying the POS will stay, but it may last long enough to make some profit. Still, most C1s are taken and you'd be better off just raiding for a day in a drake or something like that.
