Alexander Keith's IPA. It's not common outside of Atlantic Canada, though. ------- Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience. |

Corona is ****ing nasty.
Blue Moon is great, but I'm also a fan of Shiner Bock, Dos Equis Lager Especial, Heineken, Rolling Rock, Deschutes Brewery Black Butte Porter, and Harp Lager. I'm going to be honest with you... Hoegaarden is probably the worst beer I've ever tasted.

Oh look it's a thread about beer. I've got to post some stuff in here.
I usually prefer erdinger or becks (yea I know unusual combination) or sometimes I like a good old flensburger, mostly during the cold months of the year that's when it tastes best.
I'd really like to try some guniess someday however I don't care much for American beer. It just somehow doesn't taste right. ----------------------------- OMG THE SKY IS FALLING! Contract me all your stuff so I can save it! |

hoegaarden tastes like fairy liquid. White beer IMO is pretty awful all round and one of those fad drinks you try once and then realise why you drink the good stuff since you now have a basis of comparison for what is awful.

I saw a study recently that said people that abstain from alcohol live shorter lives than even the heaviest drinkers

There is also a study that says that we all die at some point, enjoy your life while it lasts...
As to beer anyone with taste buds should stay away from most international lagers or well away from any company that makes beer "for large audience" as beer is brewed in 5000-10 000L tanks so the taste cannot be anywhere near what smaller breweries make.
Also Carlsberg, Bullmers, Guinness and what else are all monopoly companies that exist because they have bought out the competition and have made people to think that a watered down overly expensive lager is something to die for.

Hoegaarden is probably the best of the white beers, I find it fairly drinkable plus all that sediment makes it a half decent meal too :D

good beer:
Harvey's Sussex best & bonfire boy shepard neame 1698 & whitstable bay franziskaner stein bock hobgoblin anything by darkstar brewery anything by adur breweries.
1) some American micro brewery beer is quite good. it pains me to admit it. Texas seems to have allot of good micro breweries.
2) France and Belgium don't make beer, they make cheap fighting lager like Stella artois.
3) Guinness is a totally overated stout. there are many more out there which are way better.
Originally by: Emeline Cabernet corona is like water. grow some, drink hoegaarden
they put fruit in that beer. therefore it no longer qualifies as beer. we'll need your man club card on your way out.

for quality/price? yuengling lager or a guiness stout for pure quality, spare no expense? Most Samuel Smith or Young's varieties will satisfy
