I dont really care if it takes 100,000-150,000 Grid, but i think its about time super capitals and titals should move at least 500-700m/s with a propulsion mod.
This will make flying these ships more versatile and flexible.

lol, would be cool to see mwd on titans, NO FACTION, so will have to take the T2 cap penalty( so that when it gains it's major tactical boost, it's losing something also ) AB.. meh

Can you imagine a Nano-Nidhoggur!
With a snake set and lows full of overdrives that thing might hit 1500 m/s.
Best of all it doesn't need to slow down to do full dps. and further more why do i even need a sig? |

I put a 100mn MWD and a full rack of overdrives on my dread once and sieged it...
It was entertaining at least.

Make it a bit lower, so it's just within the fitting range of Tier 3 BS --- 34.4:1 mineral compression |

Who here wouldn't love a capital ship sized smart bomb that can be fitted these ships and be easier to get rid of fighter or fighter bomber attacks,or a capital ship sized NOS/NEUT,with the condition that it can only be activated on other enemy capital ships....List goes on and on.
We're spending huge amounts of time and isk training for these ships and their support skills,yet the available amount of possible configurations with these ships is pretty small overall,at least when compared to smaller ships....Gameplay balance or not,it has nothing to do with the sandbox principle that CCP is always boasting with the game...The sandbox gets pretty small once you reach these types of ships..

We had those at one time. There were even special ships specifically designed to use them.
Unfortunately, CCP nerfed them out of the game about a year ago. Instapopping nearly everything on the grid was deemed too powerful, especially when spammed constantly. |

I don't know. What would be the benefit of it?
Caps would get unbumpable or the uber-bump ships (one carrier bumps a titan out of a force field). Not to mention that supercaps would become even moar untackleable.
Though I wouldn't mind something like 12/10 (lol) plexes where the boss is some pirate carrier dropping faction guns/boosters/reps. And T2 guns (120m shield boosters/guns \o/).

I don't think it would be too powerfull to be honest,since carriers and super carriers can still be taken down with direct turret fire from other ships,which would be well beyond the range of the capital smart bomb anyhow,and fighters and fighter bombers can still be used on dreads and titans if the oportunity presents itself,so they don't become useless either.
The main thing i hate is a single carrier or supercarrier being completely swarmed by the fighters or fighter bombers of 5 other enemy carrier or supercarriers,and the ship has no way to defend against that at all,as the tank simply won't hold out for long and BS sized smart bombs aren't enough...No one would put a capital smart bomb on a dread since it means losing at least 33% of it's damage at range,both in and out of siege mode,and the same for a titan with the huge bonus they now have on their guns/missile launchers....

Hmm now wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to set your fighters in anti-drone or anti-fighter/bomber mode. Launch drones/fighters select the proper mode and the drones/fighters will attack any other drones/fighters that are attacking you.
