Hello, I run two clients - and for the past three days I have been having a serious problem. Usually between 5 and 30 minutes after starting my game - one of my clients crashes. The game freezes, and Windows gives me a "This application has stopped working message".....
I've trouble shooted it as best I can - clearing cache etc. I re-installed the game, did not help. I just re-installed windows 7 2 weeks, ago so I highly doubt its any sort of virus or conflicting software - Ive added EVE to my exceptions list on my AV as well. All my drivers are updated and I am using the latest nvidia driver.
I tried EveLogger tool to find an error and couldnt find any, however my systems even viewer shows the following each time it happens.
Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 9/17/2010 5:08:46 PM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: Jasons-PC Description: Faulting application name: ExeFile.exe, version: 6.30.2.41893, time stamp: 0x4c60241f Faulting module name: _trinity.dll, version: 6.30.2.41893, time stamp: 0x4c602257 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00430db4 Faulting process id: 0x944 Faulting application start time: 0x01cb56aa70787b3a Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\_trinity.dll Report Id: c206e52f-c29f-11df-ab8e-001060eb4ec9 Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2010-09-17T21:08:46.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>1764</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>Jasons-PC</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>ExeFile.exe</Data> <Data>6.30.2.41893</Data> <Data>4c60241f</Data> <Data>_trinity.dll</Data> <Data>6.30.2.41893</Data> <Data>4c602257</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>00430db4</Data> <Data>944</Data> <Data>01cb56aa70787b3a</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\_trinity.dll</Data> <Data>c206e52f-c29f-11df-ab8e-001060eb4ec9</Data> </EventData> </Event>

This problem persists after yet another totally fresh install of the game client (deleted all files etc.) And after disabling Anti Aliasing.

Edited by: Esharan on 18/09/2010 16:19:25 Some more details.
I have run MemTest86+ 3 times; no errors found so I am pretty sure its not a memory error.
According to HW monitor my temps are fine - at the time of crashes my HD temps are approx 45C, my GPU is at around 60C.

Same problem, anytime I'm running two clients eve crashes, usually within just a few minutes. Making it impossible to use both. It's simple. Just take the hydraulic phase shift emulator and attach it to the trans-dimensional photon emitter. |
