As Season 1 Has come to an end and Season 2 will be moving away from the Wormhole Topics I'd like to continue to help pilots who are new to wormholes and possibly pilots who are not so new. Hope you find the Tool useful and please don't hesitate to ask any questions either here, in game or via the email which can be found on the about tab of the tool.

From the screen shot it looks like it would be very handy.
I downloaded the zip file, expanded it, opened the file Folder to find 1 of the 4 files missing that was supposed to be in the download. So now I have stuff downloaded into my computer for an application that I can't use.
According to the site, the download should contain:
Unknown Eve's Wormhole Tool0 KiB2010-09-11 12:47:34
Unknown Eve's Wormhole Tool/MasterDBUknownEveTool.mdb10 212 KiB2010-09-11 12:47:34
Unknown Eve's Wormhole Tool/Unknown Eve static mapper.mdb1 056 KiB2010-09-05 03:10:00
Unknown Eve's Wormhole Tool/Unknown Eve's Wormhole Tool.exe11 727 KiB2010-09-11 12:47:44
The last one is missing from the downloaded ZIP file. Any idea what happened to it or where it might be located in my computer? I would very much like to give it a try, also will this program work in-game?

I've downloaded the file a few times and the .exe is always there. Try downloading it again?

Obviously there must be something wrong. Now maybe I don't have a certain program installed that's needed to run your wormhole thingy.
Anyway, thanks for answering my questions and good luck with your program.

It would have helped if you told us you got that message, you told us you were missing the .exe. If you're getting a .NET error make sure you have the latest version of .NET. Other than that I don't know. Is anyone else having trouble with the program?

You can edit the database that comes with the Wormhole Tool, but this will be overwritten each time the program is update, I have created a email and don't mind taking additions to the comment section through the in game mail service. if I gain the knowledge i would love to have the tool connect and update from the internet but atm its going to stay as it is Completing the currently data is priority and specially adding ship setups, so if people would like to contribute get sending some mails either in game or via my email address which can be found on the "About" page in the actual Wormhole Tool

xCaedo, does your program actualy use any .net functionality? If not then the dependance on the .net framework will be due to Common Language Runtime which is included as part of the framework. If you're using Visual Studio you can remove this dependancy by going to "Configuration Properties -> General" and change the option for "Common Language Runtime support" to "No Common Language Runtime Support". If you're not using Visual Studio you should be able to find a similar option somewhere in your configuration or project properties. That will remove the dependance on the .net framework so the end user will no longer get the initialisation error if they dont have the framework installed.
