Hi CCP.
I just read the Feature & Ideas forum again and can only *facepalm* about it.. give us a bug/feature-tracker to make this process not so painful for YOU and US. What do you guys use internally for this? PostIt? Beermat?

Can we please get one to use instead of the forums? Pretty please?

Regarding tracking of ideas + features, this is part of why the Council of Stellar Management (CSM) was introduced. Players are free to raise an official proposal in the Assembly Hall or discuss a topic informally at Jita Park Speakers Corner.
I know, and here start's the problem with this kind of approach. Reinventing the wheel over and over and over.. Let's say there are several people who have the same kind of idea and irk with the game, just not at the same time (read months here). How do they make a proposal that would get through? How do they work on it from time to time? Add to it, discuss it from different angles? You can't search this thing in a way that would qualify as helpful for forming ideas and if there weren't chribbas eve-search you couldn't search at all.
It's a half-assed and bad implementation to get features and ideas collected, reviewed and worked on. For example I want to see all proposals and discussions regarding planetary interaction, and there in special team-work. How do I do that? Do I make a new thread and hope all which are actually interested in discussing that show up as long this thing stays on page one? Do I screen all pages of threads in the forum there to find threads about it? Do I use Eve-Search? Which what kind of phrase? Can I be sure I found all there is?
Originally by: Johnathan Walker Additionally, current CSM 5 candidate TeaDaze has a wonderful database of previous meetings CSM Database.
And finally, feel free to drop by #excellence on irc.coldfront.net; it's an unofficial gathering place for working with the CSM on developing tools to make their jobs easier in the long run.
Is the CSM now in charge of collecting features and ideas for CCP and creating, running & maintaining a framework for it? And on top of that how does the information stored in this thing finds it way to the desks of DEVs in a usefull/supportive/synergistic approach (read without to much hassle and reformatting)?
The solution I see for this is a bug/feature-tracking program run by CCP on this very website.

Just remembered they used to talk about revamping the entire EVE forums, but have been strangely silent for quite awhile.
