I used to have no problems playing and connecting to the server. Now with reactivating my account when I want to login it sais: Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong. My internet works fine. Can anyone help me?

Well I am playing EVE for first time with the 14 days trial with 10 days trial left. Worked well till today for 5 minuts ago the same message you recived comes up.
" Unabel to connect to 157.157.139.10 on port 26000 "
I asumed the server was down for overhaul or something. But cant find anything at EVE:s page about server been down or on repair... So???

Check your firewall settings, as they may have been enabled or something, and be preventing Eve accessing the net properly.

Your case is slightly differant. Eve servers close at 11:00am GMT till 12:00 AM/PM GMT for general servicing and updating/patching.

There does seem to be a connection problem today.
My normal wireless broadband wouldn't connect as there were hardly any packets being returned from the server.
I tried a 56k landline modem and it took over 15 minutes to get in game even using 2 different ISP's
Hopefully it'll sort itself out after tomorrows DT.
