There may be a better place to post this but I am away from home and on my iPhone and don't really have the time or patience for finding that special place right now...
The problem: When writing the body of an email using gate.eveonline.com through safari on my iPhone (3GS) I cannot write more than two sentences, I'm not sure how many charachter but it's simply frustrating. If anyone else is having this problem please post here if there is a solution or if the problem is already being address.
Thanks!

Ok, so I've tried to find the proper place to report this bug but have come up short. CCP, I honestly apologize if this has already been brought to light and I presume your silence means that you've already known of this... If I'm wrong turn my mega into arkonor... Damn. Anyways, let us know if you know please :)
Mucho thankso

Hey there,
Thanks for reporting the issue. Our EVE Gate team has made a fix internally and it should be out with the next EVE Gate release, time TBA.

Awesome, thanks. I know it's not the biggest issue but I hope it's an easy one to fix.
Cheers for the response :)

Hello,
We've made changes to the editor which EVE Gate uses. This fixes an issue where you're unable to make line-breaks in the Safari Mobile browser.
However, as we do not currently support mobile devices, there's an issue which we can't really fix: Our editor uses Javascript to turn a normal text-area into an actual editor. And as Apple has disabled support for this, we can not support a fully-featured editor, meaning that you will be stuck with a text-field, which is most likely limited in how much content it can contain.
So if you're talking about being unable to write more than 2 paragraphs, then we have fixed that. But I can't promise that we'll be able to fix being unable to write a lot of content.

OK, thanks for trying though. I know there are issues which cannot be fixed but I know I definitely appreciate you guys trying. Any interest or momentum in a Macintosh native client, juuust curious??? :P
It's not even two paragraphs though, more like two or three sentences. Not sure on the exact character count but it's about one line and then maybe one third of the second... I suppose my corp mates and I will just have to develop some kind of code...

I propose a more mobile friendly version of EVE Gate. Not only for Apple iOS (I have a iPhone 3GS) but also Droid OS. A lot of people use mobile devices now and would be nice to check when you're not logged in.

For what it's worth, the editor features of the forums work just fine, though the typing is really slow in the iPhone 3G (my guess is due to the character counting script). -- [Aussie players: join ANZAC channel] |

I have this problem also on droid incredible, though the text field for everything works except when typing in the body, as UN doing from my phone at the moment here, though ab app would be the best,I don't have any train to use gate when at hom.
