Any info yet?

It doesn't work for me and so i went back to 10.7 which is still working. I forgot to mention that I use the AGP drivers. Maybe PCI isn't borked. I'll give 10.9 another try.
See you!

After a quick reboot I'm now getting these problems as well.
Nothing fixes the issues, unfortunately. Tried toggling all settings. ---

I should add that I have a 4870 1gb PCI-E. Downloading 10.7 now until CCP/ATI fix this.

Same problem.
If I run a single screen, it's fine. If I use both screens then the cursor disappears making the game unplayable.
Went back to 10.7 and it's fine.

For me, since 10.7, i can't force AA in windowed mode if Cat AI is enabled. If i disabled cat ai, i can force AA, but can't use bloom&hdr.
So i'm back to 10.6. ---------------------------------- - I'm french, sorry if you don't understand me - |

Hello all.
I have some problem vs ati and 2 monitors... Answer from AMD support:
"Response and Service Request History:
5770; xp; primary display (1920x1200 DVI) secondary display (1920x1080 HDMI).
Regarding the issue of "While I`m playing game (EvE Online) in window mode, usualy I have 2 or 3 windows, and I move one of EvE window to extended desktop - fps in game drop really low."
That is correct, this would be a windows controlled option where the secondary monitor will rely on the system to provide the resources, but the primary monitor will have the priority.
Regarding the issue of " In stretch mode fps is normal in both windows. But I can`t use stretch mode normal, because I have different resolution on my monitors. In stretch mode my primary display work only 1920x1080 and i should do scale options. So, how can I make normal performance in extended mode?"
This is not a video card but a game related issue, please contact the game manufacturer for assistance.
NOTE: you have a huge difference in the resolutions. To stretch across the two screens would mean you will have the lower monitor's resolution extended across the two screens, some monitors will not allow you to use that."
So...

I uninstalled 10.8, ran Guru3D's DriverCleaner (with lots of reboots inbetween and after). Then, after installing 10.7 (freshly redownloaded) and rebooting: Everything works fine again.
Clearly a 10.8 driver issue.

Edited by: sahga Tri on 01/09/2010 04:01:48 ATI 5830, 10.8 drivers (not clean upgraded, I didn't uninstall the old ones first. No need since pre-9 catalyst drivers)
No flickers. No FPS drop. No cursor issues. Two monitors. Client is in windowed mode, fullscreened by EVEMon. Windows 7 x64
