I've recently lost a ship to Concord for something that I've done for a couple of years now with no GCC or Concord intervention - shooting NPC traders. I'm fully aware that this will attract the attention of the Faction police and\or militia and will get the usual yellow aggro timer for that corp who's traders you shoot, but I've never received a GCC and insta pop from concord for these actions.
So, question is, was this a bug or has the little patch this week subtly changed some things that were not shown in the change list?

So you get some sadistic pleasure out of shooting NPC traders?
Tonight, some little capsuleer lost his daddy because of you.

Little bits like this are exactly what makes EVE so awesome.
I also recall that if you have low enough standings with the CONCORD corp/alliance, you also get CONCORDOKKENNED on sight if you enter one of their sovereign highsec systems, is that still true? ___________ EVE is dying! Now for real! |

Yes. If you have low standing with the sovereign faction then the Faction Navy will attack when you enter their systems. There are different Faction Navy forces for each faction but CONCORD is the Faction Navy in CONCORD sovereign systems.
Also, if you have low security status (which is low standing with CONCORD) then the Faction Police will attack in every high-sec system. But the Faction Police in CONCORD systems is just CONCORD.

Maybe the warning should be changed in systems where concord has a station to reflect the fact that you will get a GCC or give the same message that you get when you start firing on another player?
Either way, my own stupid mistake... ho hum.

Yeah, you might have pinged one of the Concord trader convoys. They don't have their own ships, which makes it hard to spot them.
It's a whole lot easier in systems with different race stations in them. Shoot gallente haulers outside caldari stations and vice versa.

Yeah, I remember the first time I found this out. Not funny guys not funny at all!! I take it that my standings toward Concord/DED will be fixed from some ninja ratting from all my 0.0 DED killin?

Are the CONCORD police in DED systems the omgwtfbbq CONCORD you see in every highsec, the inescapable kind, or the faction Police kind that web first before scramming, etc?
Also just to confirm - my understanding is that if you have -2.0 security status and go into a DED system and CONCORD spots you instead of getting a yellow aggression timer you get a full blown GCC?

And would it be an exploit to evade Concord in those systems, assuming you are hunted for standings issues, and not because of a GCC?

If you have -5.0 or worse security status the faction police that respond in CONCORD systems will give you a GCC, thus meaning CONCORD will be in mere moments to remove you from existence violently.

I'd like to see a thousand man corp come into a HS system and have their way with a Concord ship just to see what the Concord reaction would be. OR alternatively... Wouldn't it be awesome if EVERYONE in Jita just suddenly went bananas and ganked the local authorities all at once??

It would still not be possible. Concord ships are pretty much unkillable.

every player would spawn a new concord spawn (of like 20 idk) so it would be those 1000 players vs 20000 Concord
