Is there a definitive guide to plex locations by region available anywhere?
I'm looking for such a guide if anyone can point me in the right direction. The only ones I have found so far are REALLY out of date.
Cheers

You can check the location of the static plexes on the ingame map. What else do you need?

yep. use the in game map filters. under the stars tab, up at the top, select the DED Deadspace report filter. all plex's should then show up.

Cheers guys, I wasn't aware that you could use the filters in the map for that purpose. I only use it for finding directions

Can this be used to track possible locations of DED complexes that have to be scanned down using probes? Say for example the 4/10 "Serpentis Phi-Outpost" plex? Or does it ONLY show the static plexes that are marked by beacons? To my understanding the ones at beacons are more often then not lower DED rated sites, such as 0/10 to 2/10 sites?
If it can tip you off on the systems with sites located within them, that you can scan down and land 3/10 or 4/10 complexes this would be a VERY handy tool indeed.

IMO this would be HORRIBLE. You'd end up with the best skilled, best equiped scanners getting all the DED plexes. A small gang could probably blow through a region's worth in almost no time, leaving nothing for those don't have the SP or the resources to beat them to it. It's hard enough now finding many good spot to scan, but knowing what systems to look in for the good sites would ruin it for anyone else.

So I'm going to assume that behind that your answer is that these sites that HAVE to be scanned down, do NOT show up in the map selection. Thanks for the roundabout answer =-) I have no problem scanning for them, but if it was something that COULD be done, and I was NOT doing it.... I would have liked to start, as to keep up with the pace of all the other exploration scanners out there competing with me~

Heard about this too. It's a completely new feature, released by the devs.
