Dear Criminals and Punishers,
I would not say I am a new player to the game, but I am definately not an experienced fighter. I would like to set up a little industrial chain on some low sec planets in empire space and realise that this will not be easy.
Are there any Pirate groupings out there that will let me build in lowsec controlled by them for a price/monthly toll? Ideally I am looking for somewhere where there aren't many people around. Please get back to me with offers and systems.
Alternatively, if dealing with Pirates turns out to be a chore, can all you mercs give me a suggestion on roughly what it would cost to protect a indy for a few jumps? Regards, Artemis Lermontov

1. Buy a cloaky hauler. 2. ??? 3. Profit!
People run POS chains alone in lowsec with no problem, and this is nothing compared to that.

While it could be more of hassle, you would probably have better luck speaking to a 0.0 or wormhole group. If the WH side is something you might consider send me an eve mail in game.

Christ you don't need to ask permission to run PI in low sec, just learn to scan. Signature locked for inappropriate image. Zymurgist |

Well you have a couple of options:
1. Fit a ship with a cloak and just be careful with your travels 2. Join a carebear corp in low sec 3. Join a production arm of a Pirate corp
TGA for instance has 3 corps 2 for pirating and 1 for resources and production. Regardless of what you choose, low-sec is much easier to pull off than 0.0 is depending on what region and how many jumps from hi-sec or trade hubs you are wanting to set up in. You might as well dump the goods at a station in that system and create a courier contract. Make sure that package fits into blockade runner. Will be cheaper and less hassle.
Alternatively get a friend/alt to scout gates ahead in a t1 frigate. As long as you fit stabs, cloak and whatever tank you can on your industrial you will be fine. Be sure to practice align->AB->cloak->warp trick.

Thank you all for your crompt and informative responses.
Guess I'll give it a go on my own.
Unless there is a 0 sec corp out there willing to be my patrons...

I will leave you alone in the Dantumi/Passari/Mara area for 100 mil per month.
I currently have the run of those systems, all miners fear me.
