Sigras	Posted - 2010.07.16 21:31:00 - [1] Has anyone researched the PI BPOs yet? (Control towers, i-hubs, SBUs etc) I have and it reduced the wastage from 10% to 5% but it didn't change the bill of materials at all. . . Petition pending. . . Anyone else having this issue or am I crazy?

Sturmwolke	Posted - 2010.07.17 18:29:00 - [8] Just do the PE (if you so wish), you shave off quite a few mins on the manufacturing time, but if you're not running high volume almost constantly, the PE matters little. ME is still "broken" until they properly fix the patch job they did to it when PI was introduced. Until such times, treat all ME 0 BPOs as perfect ME.

As Emporer and Krathos mentioned above, it works as intended, because it is (probably temporary) solution to prevent reprocessing. You will not see any change because you have perfect BPO already. Zofu calculations ara based on "old" BPOs, before CCP moved all materials to Extra Materials section.

Not sure I understand why these are the only BPOs that can't be researched (besides small rigs which are already perfect) If my BPO costs 28 broadcast nodes and 10% of that is waste, that means 2.5 of the nodes are waste. . . At level one the waste drops to 5% which means 1.25 nodes are waste. . . Which means level one should drop the requirement to 27 from 28 . . .
