I did try variations of this when I was trying to set variables using absolute paths.
This is the problem with sessions being borked too?
Thanks for taking so much time to figure this out.
As far as my webhost goes, when they said they were escalating it they really meant "We're done talking to you now." They sent me an email saying my ticket was closed as soon I left chat saying it was the php scripts fault. I love how useful IT staff are.
When I have time I might look at register.php again and see if I cant hack together a fix for that, but I really have no clue on the not staying logged in issue with the phpsession being created and maintained.
I would jsut try setting $eve_filepath='/hermes/web09/b1345/moo.valistar/public_html/pos/cache';
May I ask who is your hosting provider?

Yes, you will need to keep trying until you find one that works. Remember you can have your cron run every minute and keep switching until you find the one that works for you.
Sorry I can't provide more help than this unless you provide who your hosting is from. And even then its really just a test of where your php5 location is.

Is there a chance that you will add the ability to import your fit from api?

I wish. Unfortunately the structures in the system do not appear right under the POS they are related to. So you can't actually tell which links to which. This was found out by doing an API pull with two towers, one with 6 silos and one with 4. All online.
What showed directly under Tower 1 was 2 Silos and then there was 8 silos under Tower 2. Also, all but 3 guns from both POSes showed up under Tower 2.
So it's pretty much impossible to know exactly what is where with the Corp Assets API. I'm looking into rigging something up that may work but it would be easier if everything was in order based on where its in space/by tower, not by its itemID.

Well, I was told that the location id gave the closest moon but I may be wrong. As far as the links go, that should be easy enough to setup I just don't want to have to add something like 100 stuctrures |

In this case the LocationID is a SolarSystemID so it's not specific enough.
Someone also looked into this on the API site of love: http://wiki.eve-id.net/APIv2_Corp_AssetList_XML
Quote: When the locationID < 60000000 then the asset is somewhere in space - I have only seen solarSystem numbers.

Hi All,
On a random side note. The main site has been updated here http://www.iceneko.com/eve/
I doubled checked all the download links but if I still missed something or you have a problem with the new site please let me know. If you do not see the new site please make sure to clear out your cache because it does look quite a bit different. I'll be doing a few more changes to it in the upcoming week or so.

Im not sure how to get it working correctly for the mail cron. I also cant get it to pull location information since all my towers are in a wormhole.
When i test the mailcron i get the following error. "Error Sending Alert :: Language string failed to load: connect_host<br>"

mail cron is spitting errors I also cant get it to pull location information since all my towers are in a wormhole. (i can see pos location information from EVEHQ and copy over to Pos Tracker but dam i love that location tab
When i test the mailcron i get the following error. "Parse Error syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' om /home/sites/corpsite/blah/blah/includes/adodb.inc.php on line 430
On the cron, are your other crons working fine? I'm not sure if that was ever fixed after pos-tracker went 3.0.
On the warmhole location data, there should be a bunch of unknown regions, try installing all of those.

Should still work fine. This would be the first time I've seen such an error as this. Odd place for it to die too. I notice some code I thought I fixed/changed which maybe causing the issue. Extract the .zip and replace the cron_mail.php with the one inside.
Please let me know what happens.

This will just be a temporary workaround if it does work. I have to update this along with the mailer in general so I just may push this up front on the to do list.
Thank you, -FG

With my last post in DROID for a while:
Thanks again FG for all your hard work and continued dedication to preserving and improving this amazing application. I'm using the latest version now and everyone in the new corp is amazed at how much better it works and how awesome the new features are (like access by corp now for multiple corp API sharing! epic!).
So. PLEX is up on contract to you in Jita, for both your work here and that one other thing we talked about that nobody needs to know about just yet. *wink*
Thanks and I hope others who find this application useful in their daily EVE careers find ways, big or small, to donate and show their appreciation to one of the few EVE-O applications that is routinely improved and updated, from a developer who is still around and active enough to troubleshoot problems for people.
Keep up the great work!

Frozen,
Thanks for all your work on this application. I'm just starting, but it looks like it could be a great help.
I am having a little difficulty with silo linking in v5.1.4. My production setup is like this:
(simple reactor)--200-->(silo)--100-->(complex reactor)
I've setup my production so that this silo is an output of the simple reactor, and linked to the complex reactor.
In-game, this silo accumulates material at the rate of 100 per hour because the simple reactor creates material faster than the complex reactor consumes it.
In FGV, whenever I enter a quantity of material for this silo, FGV immediately resets it to zero when I click update.
Thanks! V

Viral, Update to 5.1.5 as a lot of the production code was redone in that version. In the previous versions the production code would set silos to 0 in all sorts of problems because it didn't understand. So you will probably be able to set a number, however thinking of it at the same time ummm. The tracker only sees a silo going one way, input or output. I don't think there has ever been any code for it to be both. Everything is based on time(literally) currently in the production code area so with the variable of one going faster than the other tosses a huge wrench into the mix.
So in the end I don't believe there is a way you could set that up in the tracker currently. Unless someone has a workaround idea I can't think of I'd say you'd have to look for other options. The closest would be just not having input silos for the complex reactor.

I can't seem to upgrade. I had the same issues before but didn't make a back up and just re-installed the latest full version installer.
This time i made a backup (on v 5.1.2) with the intention of moving to 5.1.5 but as soon as start the process by copying the 5.1.3 upgrade things seem to break.
Is that minor upgrade just suppose to "work" transparently with no interaction apart from just overwriting the files?

Define break?
Yes 5.1.3 is just a copy and replace. If you do not see a DB update listed then no DB update needed. 5.1.4 Has a DB update, 5.1.5 does not.

Thanks for your reply FG, it appears that this ftp client that I am using wasn't configured properly, so when I was uploading it was set to auto skip certain files.
Damn, simple things...

Just a heads up, it appears that a single quotation mark (') in a corp name will break the application. Might want to switch to a standard sanitizer instead of using your own. -- Kismeteer, carebear extraordinaire

Yeah it breaks the track page. You can get else where in most cases just not the track page. Known issue for a while and there was a crappy reason why I couldn't just fix it. Pretty sure it had to do with the fact that user's information/permissions/tower info goes off the corp name. But instead of the corp name just being for display purposes and having everything go off IDs (like it should have been since creation) it has a lot more uses. Which then if something doesn't match up after sanitation its now even more unhappy.
Maybe I'll look into something for it in 5.1.6 but in the mean time you can just remove the ' out of the players and tower info and everything should be HAPPY. Until something gets updated :P

What he said. It's a pretty simple fix to use a standard sanitizer instead of your own function. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=PHP+input+sanitizing
I'll write you a patch if you don't get around to it.

Yeah there's if you have DB access. Also there are a few locations where it can be changed/updated in the DB and some can be done outside by just removing/adding it back.
Places that may need changing: pos3_user - Change the alliance ID to what alliance you now belong to.
pos3_tower_info - Change the alliance ID here too for each tower. Or you can delete the POS and do another API pull. If you are now in friendly sov space it should take effect.
pos3_eveapi - The API may need to be removed and re-added before it updates.
If you could let me know what you exactly are looking to have updated that could help me out. I'm guessing you mean for the towers though. I've been doing a lot of changes lately for 5.1.6 so maybe I can quickly add something in for the alliance thing too before I push out its release.
