There used to be so many great invention calculator tools out there. Most if not all of them did not get updated when the T2 invention changes came around. Are there any left that still work? -- Killed me? Read about it in my blog! Northern Lights: Solo PVP in EVE Online

What is wrong with the well known http://games.chruker.dk/eve_online/invention_chance.php ?
Alternatively, my calculator at http://eve.kiwi.frubar.net/industry/ should use the same (still correct) formula.

No, I want to know what changes you think invalidated tools like the ones Qoi linked.

Those tools are great to hear about (I didn't know about them) but the old Delphi-based standalone Invention Calculator application that would give you a nice table of profitability of every ship and module in the game based on your API-plugged skills and preset decryptor/BPC values was really nice and let me spend more time doing the things I actually enjoy in this game, namely dealing with politics and blowing stuff up. I don't want to spend four hours a day figuring out whether it's more profitable to invent Vagabonds or Cranes this week.

Like Icana said. These tools seem to lack important features like component costs, mineral prices, etc. Makes it impossible to compare the cost-benefit of inventing one item over another. -- Killed me? Read about it in my blog! Northern Lights: Solo PVP in EVE Online

Thats probably becouse they were newer meant to do that. They are there to calculate your chance of success in invention.
Something witch formula you would include in your own spreadsheet as well to analyse total cost of manufactured t2 items anyways. So they serve as anchor you can check you got invention formula right.
or if you just want quickly check whats your chance to invent item x with given skill levels.

I think the OP was asking about an invention profit calculator and not an invention probability calculator.
Though the first is directly linked to the second, probabilities should(?!) not have changed. People claim to have equal success rates. I myself am slightly above the invention success rate.
What changed with the introduction of Dominion were component requirements for mostly T2 ships, making the most of calculators obsolete as they still use the old requirement tables for computing profits.
Best example the Hulk (w/ perfect ME): It took 75 Crystalline Carbonide Armor Plate pre Dominion for building a Hulk. Now you need 2000 Armor Plates!

Yes! Finally, someone who understands me. This must be true love.
Anyway, yes. Are there any working invention profitability calculators left? -- Killed me? Read about it in my blog! Northern Lights: Solo PVP in EVE Online

Don't know. I built my own

Looks decent enough. Qoi: could you make a remark on your page, which dump version you use? It sure would benefit for future times...

To be fair, you were not that specific in your OP, so I assumed a probability calculator, since the rest of it is pretty much a manufacturing profit calculator.

I like EMU for doing this, it is more of a complete toolset handling both the invention costs and build costs against current prices.
