I'm doing low sec L2 missions in a Bellicose usually against Angels. The fit is,
Bellicose Damage Control I Gyrostabilizer I Co-Processor I
Medium Shield Booster I Target Painter I 10MN Afterburner I Small Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 25
220mm Vulcan AutoCannon I, EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon I, EMP M 220mm Vulcan AutoCannon I, EMP M Heavy Missile Launcher I, Thunderbolt Heavy Missile Salvager I
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Hammerhead I x1 Hammerhead I x1 Hobgoblin I x1 Hobgoblin I x1
Some missions seem to swarm me with enemy rather than come at me in waves. I usually end up with half my armour left & after repairs I have very little reward money left given the low quality of the agent. Keeping in mind I haven't got the ISK for T2s what should I be doing to make things easier? Longer range guns, changing fit?

Assuming low skills and a desire to keep using a Bellicose:
1. Post in the mission forum 2. Use ammo and drones that deal explosive damage. Definitely not EMP and Thunderbolt missiles against Angels. 3. Use an assault missile launcher 4. Drop target painter and small cap booster and use an invuln field ans small booster instead. 5. Now you should have room to drop the co-processor for something else
Also, learn how the missions work, some take a bit of strategy at low skill levels.

Congrats on having the balls to be doing missions in losec with such low skills. I certainly didn't back when I was there. You should rather be posting the in missions forum, but that said, I would use artillery instead of autocannons in missions, since that way you can keep the npcs at range rather than having to kill them up close and take more damage.

hi beltze, try 3 assault launchers and 2 220 vulcans with explosive ammo, then in mids use 2 large shield extenders, afterburner and invulnerability field.

Also, don't pay to get your armor/hull repaired. You should have armor and hull reppers from mission loot, if you have been looting your wrecks. If not, buy at least an armor repper. When you get back from your mission with armor damage, dock up, swap out something for your armor repper, undock, activate the module to repair your armor, redock when you are done and swap back to your mission fit.
