Hey guys, my first post here...
I do salvaging for my corp when they run Level 4 missions and do WHs. This past few days I salvaged probably 3-4 missions, with a total of about 3,500m3 of salvage. All of that I contracted to my superior in the corp so he could go through and sell what is worthwhile and put the rest in the corp hanger. Today he approached me asking if I had taken any items from the salvage, which I had not. He told me there was NO armor plates in all the salvage, and was extremely frustrated that all these missions yeilded a measly few million ISK. He tells me when he runs a level 4 mission, he will net upwards of 20mil ISK per mission.
How the hell is this possible? Right now my corp mates think I am skimming the salvage, when in reality I am not.

It happens a lot since last patch, If your superior in corp is thinking your stealing a few mill worth of salvage leave :)
Are you guys in gangs when do missions ect? If not i suggest get in a gang and get FC to turn on loot thing and he can see who getting what of all members whilst they salvage ect.

I should explain my self a bit more...
When I first joined this corp, on my first salvaging run, I did skim the salvage. I sold everything worth under like 1k ISK to make it easier for my superior to go through it. However, unknown to me, he puts everything worth nothing in the corp hangar, and sells everything worthwhile. So technically, I have skimmed the salvage before, so he has a right to be skeptical, but it is different this time because its expensive stuff, and I DIDN'T TAKE IT.
Lol.

Your CEO sounds like a douche. I wouldnt stay in that corp 1 minute longer. Armor plates didnt drop often pre-Tyrannis in the first place, now Ive been getting so little Ive stopped salvaging all together. Seriously though, if your interested in missions and what not, send me a mail in game if your interested in finding a better corp. (name is ColdChimera) ____________________________________________

Hes actually not my C.E.O.
My C.E.O. is a nice guy as far as I can tell. The guy accusing me of stealing salvage is just a superior of mine... I'm not sure what is "title" is.

Someone needs to tell your corp leader that he'd make more money blitzing missions instead of wasting time salvaging them.

I have now left my current corporation, and I have made my own. I will just wait until someone approaches me who is interested in recruiting me.
I am worried however because my superior has threatened to declare war on any corporation I join shall I leave his corp....
Ugh.

I know this is kinda off topic, but if your corp leaders run the corp, and make you feel like they are your superiors, then they suck. Leaders of a corp should treat their new members like gold, and be there support, not superiors.

I'd say you have some really good options: - Join a low sec pirate corp - Join an empire wardec corp (like The Privateers) - Join a 0.0 alliance

It has been my experience that Amarr and rats that use Amarr looking ships produce a lot of armor plates. What I am trying to say is that if those L4 missions are against Caldari and a couple other factions of rats, expect zero armor plates.

Edited by: Kia Tor on 06/06/2010 23:44:29 Sounds like your Corp, or should say 'old' corp, sucked. Find a better one or stay in an NPC corp if you don't want yours deced. By the way, as said before, this is a game, NOBODY is your superior.

AFAIK, Serpentis, Guristas, Mercenaries, Rogue drones salvage is total CRAP. Yet before Tyrannys.
Angel Cartel BSs do drop decent amounts of Armor plates and Alloyed tritanium bar, and Sansha Nation ones drop a lot of Armor plates (even medium wrecks do often enough) and some other interesting stuff with "capacitor" part of the name.

Your superior was a ****. He could cross check everything you deposited with loot logs of the mission and easily see what was taken. You did the right thing. You're not in a "Raid Guild" so the lame behavior he exhibited was uncalled for, and you did the right thing by moving on.

Wouldn't worry about it too much. Unless a no life loser at some point he is not going to care. CEO may not care either if he has any hopes of not looking like a griefer corp with war decs all year round for just one person. Hell null sec corps don't even do that with some of the more famous corp thefts in the hundreds of millions lol. 600 million in war dec fees year round beacuse you sold off crap salvage on accident, leadership like that will have the corp folded in short order.

I just got 15 armor plates from a L3 Blockade against Sansha.
All depends of level and opponent. Right, it's a bit less but still very good. On the other end, if the targets were Serpentis or Guristas, for example, it's just normal, as it was, to not get many armor plates.
Did your director read the patch notes?
Look for another corp, there is plenty out there that want you and will treat you good.

This, for sure!
Turn on loot logging, there will be no arguments about who looted what, but be aware that the loot history counts you looting something from a wreck and someone else looting from your jetcan, so if you salvage stuff and jetcan it, loot history will count that item twice.

unless ive got my races wrong you appear to be amarrian,
in which case your welcome to join our corp. we run amarr missions in Pen, good friendly players and we have alot of fun doing what we do.
as for your old "superior", comming from someone thats ran 3 pretty sucessfull corps in my eve life, as a CEO i would find that behaviour very troubling. did u make an effort to report him to your CEO? because chances are he probably doesnt want some jerk ruining what hes put many hours into build.
oh and the war? bring it on. we dont paticulary like pvp, but when it comes to wiping a smile of some a-holes face, were all for it.

There's nothing worse than working for someone who isn't even aware of the latest greatest regulations in whatever field you work in because there is no way for you to come out of that situation without being douched by the douche you work for.
Really, if your corp superior isn't aware that there will be reductions in loot after the patch you really need to consider if you should be doing work for them.

Aside from your 'superior' needed to tone down with his 20M isk per mission (and I assure you that aint in salvage), it depends a lot what faction the missions are run againt:
1. not all NPC's drop Armor Plates 2. the amount of Armor Plates is random
Tell him to do his homework on salvage. _

I have run plenty of L4s without getting any armor plates.
Hard to tell from the OP, but if I was being jerked around by a corp mate, I'd look for an opportunity to gank him in a mission, pod him (if possible), loot his wreck, and bail on the corp. If he's a decent person who's just frustrated, have him use loot logging as suggested earlier.
