Does EvE effectively support a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080?
Those with larger monitors, what screen resolution do you play at?

I play at 1680x1050, which is the largest this game and most others support, and also the size of my monitor.

That is complete and utter garbage. I've been playing many games over the last 5 years including Eve at 2560 x 1600 on a 30 Inch Monitor. It is absolutely spectacular. I also run it on a second machine at 1920 x 1200. BOTH resolutions are available in the drop down menu when you have a monitor and video card that supports those resolutions attached...
1680 x 1050? For heavens sake...

They've shown EVE running with EYEfinity at Fanfest: 3 screens at 1920x1080 in wide mode, so that's 5760x1080 without issues.

Interface gets so tiny it's unreadable. Doesn't that count as an issue?

Why don't you just hook it upto a flatscreen TV if size is that important?
Not seeing any sizes larger on my dropdown, and i'm using a GTX8800, which is a few years old, but more than capable of upto 2560x1600.

Did it not occur to you that the reason most of the games you've played seem to be limited to this resolution is because of your monitor?

I run all games including eve @ 2560 x 1600. Max game res as posted above is limited by your screen and also your gfx card in some respects to drive the larger screens with all the eye candy on.

I play at 4320x900 resolution (that is not a typo).
Really, it is the only way to play eve. More than enough room for all the various intel/chat windows needed.

I got a nice 21.5 inch wide screen LCD.
All I got to say, "EVE is pretty and smooth(despite 600 man fleet fights) when running at 1920 x 1080".

Runs fine at 2560+1440, 1920+1200 and 1920+1080, which is what I use on the various computers strewn around the placeā ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

1920 x 1020 here.
Unsure if anyone has mentioned the other drop down settings as the topic was tl:dr
In 16:9 [i think] you can go full res but 16:10 will give u a lower res.

You're either high, or not very bright...that is the resolution of your monitor, NOT the max supported by games.
I'm running EvE on dual-monitors at 1920x1200, works like a champ. .

I don't think that was Eyefinity - I think that was Matrox TripleHead2Go.
Pointless quibble notwithstanding - ;) - I've run it in Eyefinity triple 2560x1600 (2Gbyte 5870e6) portrait. The narrow aspect ratio increases the zoom-out/view distance required to get a decent "context" - and objects feel as if they are suffering the the "distant-object shimmering" effect much earlier than usual. I wish they'd change that "feature", whatever it actually is.
But it works. And looks gorgeous too. :)

Confirming EVE works in 1920 x 1080, and also confirming that the overview writing isn't so small you can't read it, but is absolutely fine and dandy.
Also confirming it looks amazing in 1920 x 1080.

If your video card and monitor can output and display 2,000,000 X 1,000,000 then eve would run in that resolution.

No TV out there will run at 2560 x 1600. Big isn't the primary issue, resolution at a given size is...
