Logistics 5, any other skill is secondary.

Cap, remore repair, shield transfer, energy transfer, spaceship command, evasive maneuvers, navigation, are all primary for a logi pilot. Fat lot of good Logi 5 will do you if your capacitor skills suck.

Mona X Why do you recommend Multitasking V? Logistics Ships can only lock 10 targets; which a pilot can do with Multitasking III. Training to V takes about 10 days longer than III.
I have never once seen a logistics fit that uses an autotargeter and seldom seen a situation where one would be needed or useful. Other high-slot modules are in my experience more important.
I found that Dorian Wylde covered most of the important skills. But you will probably be concerned with your tank. Compensation skills will be helpful here as well local repair skills for the times your the only logi pilot (depends who you fly with in what situations)
Good Luck CCRES is recruiting pilots who want to live in WSpace/Wormholes. Fill out an application here! |

Well you picked two logi ships that aren't similar so after Logistics V you need to train a variety of skills. Cap skills to get the scimitar stable and the guardian effective. Energy transfer skills to allow the guardian to actually work. Less obvious skills are things like navigation since you are constantly orbiting to minimize damage, Multitasking for additional locks, and drone skills for extra boosts.
Don't worry about training for tracking links, they are rarely used and the other skills are far more important to train first.

Because ability to lock 12 targets is better than ability to lock 10 targets.

So what other module you would reccomend on scimitar?

Because you can slap Signal Amps or even Auto Targeting systems on your logistics ship to up the max, and you definitely want to have as many people as possible locked so you can start applying ze goods ASAP. Your job is to keep your fleet alive ù any module that helps in this is a good idea to fit, even if you have to give up some secondary benefits elsewhere for it. ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Umm. max squad size is 10 if you really need more so that 2 can't be spared or locked in time you're squad/fleet of 10 is dead anyways, unless you have 2 logis which in turns makes you auto targeter pointless or hello your BS can have remote reps as well not all BS fit 8 gun turrets. Might as well instead put those tracking links at least they would have some use, unlike auto targeters...
Just my 2 cents on issue with auto targeting systems.

Max fleet size over 250, and just because there might be others around doesn't mean you shouldn't forego the option of having as many people under watch as possibleà
ànot to mention that you probably want to have your cap buddy on a constant lock independent of what else you're going to keep track of.

ATS = highslot; TL = midslot; SigAmp = lowslotà so there's not exactly any conflict between them. ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Another rep? Even a medium rep is better than some pointless electronics. Your job is to keep people alive, not to keep them NEARLY alive.
