every time i have tried to log into sisi over the last 2 weeks i get an incompatable version error. several times i have goten automatic patches but still unable to get in. manual patching the same way. this morning in downloaded and inctalled the complete singularity version and am still geting incompatable version errors.
i remember from a lon time ago you sometimes had to edit a file that changed the erver address the client was gogging into. it this the case?

i found the fix in a thread a few pages in
C:\Games\CCP\SiSi\eve.exe /end /LUA:OFF /server:87.237.38.50
make a bookmark for your singularity eve.exe file the edit the bookmark and add /end /LUA:OFF /server:87.237.38.50

your quotes are in the wrong places. should look look this "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE-test-2\eve.exe" /end /LUA:OFF /server:87.237.38.50

The "/end /LUA:OFF" part has nothing to do in this issue. What you need, is to specify the server it should connect to.
You can use either /server:singularity or /server:87.237.38.50 -- Thanks CCP for cu |

There's an article on the official wiki about exactly this.

Perhaps a sticky in THIS sub-forum is in order. Instead of spreading information all over the place. |

First 2 stickies actually have it, so there's little excuse. The only place which doesn't have a link to the instructions is the actual download ages (hint).
