-f Flood ping. Outputs packets as fast as they come back or one hun- dred times per second, whichever is more. For every ECHO_REQUEST sent a period ``.'' is printed, while for every ECHO_REPLY received a backspace is printed. This provides a rapid display of how many packets are being dropped. Only the super-user may use this option. This can be very hard on a network and should be used with caution.

You may well find that the relevant ports that EVE needs to use are blocked :(
The funny thing about this sentence is that by the time you've finished reading it, it's too late for you to realise it doesn't say anything. |

From California I see relatively good times till it hits the Atlantic. Then it jumps from 80ms to 156ms with an avg overall time of 156ms. If you're EU, you've got it made. If you're in the Americas or Asia, it's going to be painful at times (of high network activity).

That's because most companies/schools block by the Domain Name, not the IP. The IP completely skips the DNS server thus granting you access. _____________________________________ Haruhiist since December 2008

Try it with 3d analyze and move the resShaders.stuff out of your eve folder. It will look weird but ive played this on a pc with 512 mb ram, and no 3d card.
