Is there a way to transfer a character's settings to another computer so that character has the same bookmark folders on each computer? ------ sig |

Edited by: SupaKudoRio on 30/04/2010 12:41:45 Go to <EVE install directory>\bulkdata. Copy the files there, they contain client side settings and the cache. C:\Documents and Settings\<account>\My Documents\EVE also contains exported overview settings, screenshots and logs if you want them as well. _____

Edited by: Flauschig Katzchen on 30/04/2010 14:51:41 Mmmm... transferring the bulk data didn't seem to work. I shall keep trying.
Edit: The odd thing is, i cannot find any eve-related files on my drive that have been modified since January which I believe is a result of the last patch. ------ sig |

I hope you have a system for naming your bookmarks, as I found out one expansion, sometimes CCP nukes all the settings
I have bookmarks for every station for every corporation I have standing with. This is a LOT of bookmarks (I record the reprocessing facilities in each bookmark, so I can always find the closest one). When I lost all the folders, I had a huge mess to deal with and re-sort. I've since learned to prefix bookmarks; in the case of NPC corps I use [ticker]. This makes it easy to sort by name, and put them back in a folder.
