Hi all,
My corp has been bakeing boosters for a while now.
While we wait to get a few corps buying off us we'v been running them to empire to sell on the buy orders.
My question; we use blockade runners, but what would you say the minimum speed needed in a ship is to run them thru high safley. I know its based on probability but if you were going to use a ship, which would be your minimum choice.?
I cant tell if a nano t1 frigate is a good idea, but i assume a nono ceptor would be agilic enouph?
Cheers all

nano ceptor is insta pop if it lands over a smartbombing bs that wants your cargo
for valuable cargo i use either a cane - manual jumping - cloaks on etc as if i'm traveling in 0.0 or a bustard loaded with LSE
a nice idea as well is to put your cargo in a contrainer and then have it shipped to Jita or wherever
that way cargo scanners cannot look into your cargo - they see the warped cargo container only

Only the people already doing this know the answer to your question. And they won't share. Competition is not welcome in drug business, m'kay?
I'd try it in the blockade runner, with i-stabs/nanofibers in lows and LFNJ rigs. It should be fast enough. I think there is a lower bound to how much agility you can have before lag overrides any further gains.
Just educated guesswork, haven't tried myself. If you test it yourself, you'll know for sure.

What's wrong using the Blockade Runner in high-sec, too? You have good base resistances, a low signature, 9 AU warping speed, a good cargo hold and easily 10k HP.
I use a Prowler all the time ... it's my second home

When did they change this again?

Sorry, no. You have to go into wormholes and get farmed by the new AI NPCs like everyone else...

or just throw it in the corp hanger of an orca so it cannot be scanned, plenty of orca's running around, so you *probably* wouldnt get singled out. War is not about dying for your faction, its about making the enemy die for theirs. |

hey guys op again.
Cheers for the reply.
I didnt realise putting them in GSC's had the effect of blocking scans so il switch to that. At that point i dont see the point in an orca TBH, slower and more vanerable. Unless i misread and a GSC delays scanning were as a orca stops it completly, in the corp hanger.
At the moment we use nono'd and ward speed rigged blockades. apart from the chance of a ceptor being smarty'd at a gate, i assume its fast enouph?
Maybe i should get on test and let you all know.

The Corp hanger of an orca can not be scanned and so you can move drugs in it. That said it is an exploit that I have petitioned to CCP and they are dumb so they don't know what to do with it "so is it a bug or exploit?" CCP "This would be considered both in this case."
So blah use the orca til they fix it.

GSCs can be scanned down.
The only way for you not to see into them is by enabling the password protection feature.
