Yeah, thats the point. I posted because lots of people seem to want to get into suicide ganking for fun and profit. Unfortunately, they are put off by the sec-hits, and don't want to become 'outlaws' for obvious reasons. They want to gank, but don't want to live in nullsec, or rat for hours.
I got asked repeatedly, "How does your security status stay so high all the time....?" Problem: too many highsec gankers were ratting very inefficiently - just didn't know how to do it properly.
This method of security status farming leads to rapid gains and significantly reduces the barrier of entry for suicide ganking. My hope is it will lead to many more people making full time careers out of smashing expensive ships in high-sec, whether they are Hulks, haulers, or fancy Marauders and Machs.
High sec is too safe, too full of expensive toys. Hopefully this will help change that.

Although, I'm kind of curious how ganking works when Concord is already present.
Its pretty clear that if a Concord spawn is present and you aggro, you are instantly jammed after firing (no 5-15 seconds period)....
But it seems that if TWO (or more) ships simultaneously engage, the pre-existing Concord spawn can only handle one ship at a time, thus the second ship will have 10-15 seconds until being jammed himself.
Can any others back this up?

Thanks for the guide. I only wish pod kills didn't hurt sec status so much because they are the most brilliant. For people like me though, they may be worth it once in a while. :)

I don't know the details of the mechanics, but I can tell you that I've been "the other" suicide ganker. Yes, one of the other dudes was jammed first, but my own agression triggered it's own concord spawn who came after me, while his were after him. I didn't get any significant extra time for being a later aggression

Precisely. The current topic is yet another demonstration why sec status hits are not, and will never be, a meaningful consequence to criminal acts. Tradable killrights would be a step towards player-driven justice.
I laughed about your kill-rights farming, truly applaudable.
yea that will make a huge difference
so that guy I ganked the other day transfered the killrights to *insert certified bad ass here* oh noes! he might pop my insured ganking ship, now that would just be a tragedy. should be pretty easy to use a proby alt + cloaking ship to bounce between other players missions killing a rat in each one if the guy is persistent.
and hey thats assuming the ganker doesn't just hit up lowsec or 0.0 for sec grinding.
heh I'm tempted to go mess with people that have killrights on me now, see if I can get them to shoot me so I can kill them again.
