I saw a news about fanfest 2011 on March. There was written: "The next EVE Online Fanfest will be held on March 24 through March 26, 2011....." And what will be happen in 2010?

The next Fanfest, as you correctly state, will be in March 2011.
Every Fanfest requires lots of preparation so that we can show all the players attending the new features we will be releasing and what we have in development for the future of EVE Online. The move to March also means that the weather is a little better and the days are a little longer.
This move will also give us time to prepare lots more fun events for everyone attending. Last year we had the Pub Crawl with a Dev. No Limit Texas Hold-em tournament, Battle of the Bands, Silent Auction, Scavenger Hunt, PVP tournament and lots more. The change of date allows us to prepare a lot of cool events for everyone attending as well as giving you the lowdown on EVE Online for the coming year

So if fanfest 2010 is in 2011. Will fanfest 2011 be in 2011 or 2012.
Should of just said fanfest 2010 canceled and that fanfest 2011 would be 6 months earlier that usual. One would expect Fanfest to have a lot more events when turning a annual event into a bi-annual one.
I have an event to suggest: Live-action CAOD.

He's lying. The weather in March is just as ****ty as in November. The fanfest should be in the middle of June or during the new years eve ( it even has eve in it ).
Then you get either sunny nights or you get to play with rockets. You could even shot a rocket or two at CCP HQ.

No fanfest. They're focusing on next years fanfest and the work needed done on Incarna done. Gives me confidence in them more that they'll deliver personally.

Yup, that'll be it. Fanfest 2010 will be in 2011, and end of the world will be in 2012, so the next fanfest is the last one we'll ever have, so it better be a good one. Really good one.

Wrong, we will have 2012 fanfest because that's in March, and the world ends in December. |

To be fair, it is probable that blumming Volcano will keep going til next year anyway, so might be best the next fan fest isn't until then!

I nominate Jita, either that or some 0.0 system that's farthest from high-sec.

Iceland is too far north to have flames that hot. It'd melt the ice on the North Pole. Also, standing in 4 feet of bull manure isn't as fun in RL.
So yeah, the idea's nice, but I foresee some problems actually making it happen. - Paknac Queltel
