Is there a good information resource on the new ore types ("dense veldspar", etc).

If you check the Item database on this website you will find all info to these ores. Basically they are all better version of the ores you are used to, with a 5 or 10% better yield in the minerals department

Go to Backstory <------ at the top.
Then you'll see Item database.

The EVE web site item database ranges from being totally worthless to being curiously worthless.
Does anyone have a better suggestion? _____________________________________________ I am motivated by various things, mostly ISK. |

Why don't you actually try it?
Example:
http://www.eve-online.com/itemdatabase/manufactureresearch/ore/veldspar/17471.asp
It is very far from being worthless and has been totally revamped.

Just to clear some things up on the Eve Item Database
When you go in there ignore the "No Description" message and click on the "?" picture anyway. There is actually complete description for every ore there.
When you first go to the page it looks like nothing is there. 2005.01.21 05:09:06combatYour Tachyon Beam Laser I perfectly strikes Blood Priest, wrecking for 533.1 damage. |

This is the in-game ore calc I use and I see it has been updated with the Medium and High ore type bonus.
It's Mr M's.

Since yesterday you can see the names of the different variants by moving your mouse over the names of the ore. This is for old gits like me who can't remember all those fancy new names.
