Hello all.
I am currently training for my Tengu now, and have already come up with a solid Starting setup for Lvl 4 missions (thanks to Mike712). I am now working on a setup for "solo" farming C3 wormholes. I can run 2 accounts at the same time on my laptop (ugh). My plan calls for a covops scout on my 2nd account, a salvaging, hacking, analyzing alt on my main account, as well as my Tengu on the main account. I have been living in a C2 WH for almost my entire EVE life so I am aware of the possible (ummmm probable) dangers of being in w-space, and mitigating some of the risks.
T3 ships have the tendancy to become very expensive, mainly due to the somewhat necessity to use faction mods to maximize effectivness. In coming up with this setup, I set several goals; a) must cost 1b or less, b) have a balanced tank/gank for Sleepers, c) be cap stable during PVE, and d) be able to put up a (hopefully decent) fight when (not if) the gank squad appears.
[Tengu, C3 WH with some Gank Prot] Domination Ballistic Control System Domination Ballistic Control System Ballistic Control System II Power Diagnostic System II Damage Control II
Invulnerability Field II Photon Scattering Field II Republic Fleet 10MN Afterburner Gist C-Type Large Shield Booster J5 Prototype Warp Disruptor I Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I, Cap Booster 400
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile
Medium Core Defence Field Extender I Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst I Medium Anti-Explosive Screen Reinforcer I
Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Engineering - Capacitor Regeneration Matrix Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
Implants: LG Crystal Set Slot 7: ZMH1000 Slot 8: ZMA100 Slot 9: ZMS100 Slot 10: ZMM100
The link below reflect the numbers at the skill level when I plan to start flying this. Obviously, I will continue my training in-flight. And, as I get the isk/lp, I will upgrade the implants.
C3 WH Tengu
The deadspace SB I feel is a must....that makes the tank. The faction AB isn't really expensive, and adds to my tank. The 2 faction BCS's are needed due to CPU issues. I went with the Explosive rig because those missiles can really hurt, and actually adds quite a bit to the tank, as well as the Invul II and the EM Hardener. I added the Rigor for more damage versus cruisers/frigs. The shield extender...I added it for a little extra buffer to allow my SB to work; however I've also considered the options of adding another Rigor, or an Accelerated Loading Bay, or an EM rig. The warp disruptor and the cap booster are for hopefully providing a fight (or allow me to escape) when a gank squad surprises me.
Running everything except the point/cap booster, this setup is cap stable at 34%. With point, no cap booster, cap lasts 5m 32s. 100% with all running using Cap 800's. 80% with all running using Cap 400's.
Now for my questions:
1. General thought/opinions about this setup? Will this tank the Mag/Rad sites?
2. What are your thoughts on the MCDFE I vs Rigor or ALB or EM rig?
Looking at some BC loadouts, it seems most Curse/Pilgrims run 3 med nuet's, have a cap booster, are armor tanked, and run a MAR of some sort.
3. What is the best way to use my cap booster when in cap warfare? Is it better to use 800's and try to "muscle" my way thru? or is it better to use smaller charges and try to time it between their nuets (which to me seems difficult since they will probably have the nuets staggered)? With 3 med nuet's on me I will have 1m26s cap using Cap 400's, and 2m28s with Cap 800's
continued in next post...

4. Is my dps enough to take out those accursed Curses/Pilgrims? (hmmmm was there a pun in there???)
Obviously, I will want to kill whoever has me pointed....and GTFO!!! But, if they are coordinated well enough, combined with the lack of extensive pvp experience on my part, escape will probably be difficult, which means (I think) I will need to get rid of whoever is nueting me ASAP to have a chance at survival.
All constructive comments are welcome. Trolls will be ignored....unless I'm in a really good mood.
Fly safe all and thanks in advance

Im sorry man but that fit is pretty Terribad, IMO So many things wrong, So lemme try.
Never ever fit 5 Launchers unless you have to use a high for other stuff, and still its not so great.
Drop large SB for a pithi small or even a If you are worried bout being cap stable? Im not sure why the hell you have cap booster on there.
Why fit all that expensive **** and then not fit a very important Faction Dist that can give you the valuble range to engage more safely?
You need to find a way to use better BCS`s lose a hardener and use a passive resist amp if you must, with good skills the yare almost 50% also if you buy dread guristas/Deadspace resist amps they are cheap as hell and way good. But you NEED ALL THE DMG YOU CAN GET.....DMG IS TANK, esp since Sleepers have very strong tanks and an extra few DPS means killing em and sitting there until a gank squad comes.
Your overall fit just doesnt play to the Tengus strong suits which are using the 50% Boosting Bonus for shields...This basically means you have a deadspce SB Amp that can turn a small boster into basically Boost vs Cap use a large equiv, so spend the 120 mil on 1 pithi small B type, or 50 milx2 on 2 Gistum B types, and have great tanks that are cap stable and it frees you up to add a Large shield extender for the little more buffer that can give yopu the valubke seconds to escape from a gank squad, or the extra Resist amp etc.
Basically Tengus fits for WH`s arent much Diff from a Lvl 4`s except maybe a Distruptor/Web/Painter etc....
If you cant fit a 6 Launcher 6 med 4 Low Tengu without using a PDS for power, you arent ready yet, Heres mine that I have used solo for my C3 Wh for 4 months Now.
[Tengu, Kails newest missioner] Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Damage Control II
Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction Warp Disruptor II Pithi B-Type Small Shield Booster Invulnerability Field II Photon Scattering Field II Shadow Serpentis 10MN Afterburner
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile
Medium Warhead Flare Catalyst I Medium Warhead Rigor Catalyst I Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Tengu Defensive - Amplification Node Tengu Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Tengu Engineering - Augmented Capacitor Reservoir Tengu Offensive - Accelerated Ejection Bay Tengu Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
This is cap stable and tanks like a beast on crack...It does 623 DPS with my imperfect skills and puts it all on target.
It has a LSE to give me some GTFO as I sail away from points if I have to but I can usually scare the ganker away before his buddy comes.
I actually prefer using MWD and nano subsytme to get 25% more agility...It aligns crazy fast and MWD is awesome to have to PVP also.
Sorry bout post being scattered its just that fit got me way off because its just so wrong..Please post the Lvl 4 fit you said was perfect it might not be I use flare rigs because I can swapp the mto Hams when needed.

Kail Storm,
Thank for your comments....and tearing me a new one...lol.
First off, I am very, very used to flying my lumbersome drake with it's whopping 175m/s and 600 sig. Going into the Tengu is going to take a bit of getting used to. I am used to having a 700+ tank when in a C3.
Now, before I undock the Tengu to do anything, I will have the offensive, defensive, and engineering sub's at 5, and the other 2 subs at 4. I haven't decided yet what lvl strat cruiser will be at. Also, I will train eng mngmt 5, fuel consv 5, shield comp 5, and shield mngmt 5 (they all at 4 atm). Aftwards I will work more on my missile support skills.
With that said, I plugged your fit into EFT and came up with this:
KS's Fit
EFT shows me with 5% CPU overage and 3% pg overage???? Did I miss something?
I do agree tho that 6 HML are better than 5.
You asked why I fitted a cap booster.....it was solely for nuet warfare with potential gankers, so essentially a wasted slot for PVE. Are you saying that isn't really needed? If so, how do you deal with cap warfare? Perhaps, tho, I'm just being paranoid lol.
EFT shows me at my planned skill set with LG Crystal set, that your uniform damage defensive efficiency is a 356. Is that enough tank to do all the C3 sites, including mag/rad sites? If so, that is very good news for me.
My choice of Domination BCS's were strictly for CPU reasons only. ATM I hesitate to bring CN BCS's into a WH.
Based upon the fit you showed me, it looks like I could bring my "starter tengu fit" into a C3 (downgrading some of the faction mods tho).(btw....I said my starter fit was solid.....not perfect hehehe)
Starter Tengu
and possibly transform it into this:
Starter Tengu adapted to C3 WH???
Anyways, Thank you very much for your input Kail :)

Cap stable when not tackling, or up to around 8 mins of cap (with no neuting etc.) This cracked beast of a tank, seems rather more like napping kitten. Although if you've been using it for ages then it must be good enough, but still 283 at best...?
Am I missing something here?
