PvP triage chimera fit?

trekzus	Posted - 2010.03.10 00:34:00 - [1] anyone got good fits for a chimera? all the fits i seem to put together don't seem to be cap stable(haven't tried faction fits though.). I can fit triage module as well, so might as well include it in the fit. Thanks for your time!

Kumi Verdai	Posted - 2010.03.10 04:44:00 - [4] what really irritates me is the fact that u can fit 4 capital armor reps on a thanny, archon and nid, but good luck fitting more then 2 capital shield transfers on the chimera. and the stats for the capital armor and shied are identical. same HP transfered, same time activation. hence why i have started training amarr up, solid triage abilities and second best local tank.

Z Yep especially as with archon trained you can hop into aeon quickly which is good , wyvern sux hel too := So aeon or nyx , that makes thani or archon worth training.
Carniflex StarHunt Systematic-Chaos	Posted - 2010.03.10 13:40:00 - [13] Few Shild transfers, cap transfer, 1x something, 1x triage cap shield booster, 3 hardeners, ECCM + sensor booster, something damage control II, 3x cap power relay (beta usually, as they are better than t2) 3x CCC I rigs, fighters (dont have them out when you triage), a LOT of drones Don't forget to insure if you do small gang stuff, as you will propably die before insurance runs out. Usual mix of hardeners seem to be 1xEM and 2x Invul. CPU is the limiting factor, so don't be afraid to use named where it does not hit you hard. Even cheaper faction can be reasonable - for example EM hardener. DG/CN invul fields are ofc not cost-effective on ship that will die sooner or later.

Z Honestly that's the truth, and it sucks.... it's a larger issue though that armor tanking has become so much better than shield tanking. It's a game imbalance with a huge ripple effect.

I can't do Triage yet so that is even worse.

They are fundamentally different, each has their advantages. When it comes to gang bonuses there is a perceived imbalance (confirmed by CCP) but apart from that they have their own strengths and weaknesses. People keep blattering about how one shouldn't use a shield cap because there are more armour ones - is it so terribly difficult to see the paradox there? Both are needed for a succesfull fleet, better get used to it. CSM Iceland meeting minutes - READ THEM :D
