Eve-I is having problems with dns mapping presently which means you get to see a cached version of the site from september instead of the real site. There is a workaround fix for this while the dns are being re-mapped which is as follows:
Edit your C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (open with notepad) and insert the following --->
217.160.211.48 www.eve-i.com
Please remove this fix if you have used it now - see my last post below
Save and close. Which will tell your browser to go to the IP instead of asking the DNS. Keep in mind If we do move to a new IP, you will have to remove this fix again.

www.eve-i.de works if you just want to read the news, but the forum pages an several other scripts link to www.eve-i.com and therefore wont work.
@Sythia: It looks like the server is configured to only process requests for eve-i domains, but no numerical IPs.

The forum pages are there - just replace the .com with .de in the browser address line once you get the error screen...hey presto - a working forum page! A bit of a drag - but copable with.

UPDATE - the server is moving at this moment, please now remove the hosts tweak and check back at eve-i.com later
For your info, we are moving to a bigger, better, faster server with more bandwidth.
