I am a returning player and neg pilot status (-4.7 atm)...
I have joined a new corp, and need to relocate, this would be fine I'm not too worried about blasting through low sec, but I was wondering what's the biggest ship I could get through High Sec, this is out of curiosity more than anything, guessing Shuttles/Interceptors/Covert Ops would be a easy(???), and Battle-cruisers are guna get sentry gunned to death... And don't say try it and see... ;-)
So, probably stupid, but I am actually asking for some honest advise, but the BS we normally get in C+P, although to be fair, even BS would be gd right now... As I sit here at work!
Also... Its good to be back.... Raaaggggh Matey!
Go go GAUNTLET RUN!

Fit a couple of stabs and a nice buffer tank and you can get anything through highsec.
Or forego the stabs and stick to systems below 0.8 ---------- Sig Page 1 Snipah YOU CANT MINE SO YOU KILL |

Since when? Admittedly it's been a long time since I had a run-in with them, but I seem to recall the navy in 0.8/0.9/1.0 having warp scramblers in addition to their much faster response time ---------- Sig Page 1 Snipah YOU CANT MINE SO YOU KILL |

They do occasionaly point, always fit a wcs or two.
If you're non flashy you can move a bs through no problems, you just need an insta-undock at your start point. Fit a mix of i-stabs and wcs in your lows and you're good to go.

Edited by: xXxDrAgOnWrAiThxXx1996 on 28/01/2010 12:12:34 You can get pretty much anything that has low slots through highsec, you dont even need a alt to haul for you for the last year or so
You need a mix of warp core stabs and inertia stabs, and a mwd if you plan on undocking in highsec
Having an insta undock when undocking is pretty necessary if you're undocking from a trade hub, if you want to buy from Jita, use planet 4 moon 1 as a insta undock, when you come out of warp just warp to the gate and turn your mwd on and you're fine, and as for the people who are flashy, you need a bookmark that is within dock range of the 4-4 station so your pod doesn't get alpha striked when landing 2k off the station

Genrally the biggest risk is opertunist players pointing you for the police to kill. the police are not much of a threat otherwise as they web you first causing instan warp in most cases. á á

Faction police even web you so you warp faster, could be onto a winner here!

IIRC it's some rare-ish thing that can happen if you insist staying there well beyond the time they web you.

Additions from personal experience: seldom you can assist to the so called "black screen of death".
It's something you usually don't get, but Murphy's law makes to that you'll get a pawnsomely long delay (all you see is a black screen) after the histogram of the undocking status goes away and the outside should appear next.
Of course this will not happen at all while you undock and move your nano cov ops, even for 1000 times. It WILL immediately happen as you undock with that supermegaultra plated Domi full of expensive crap you care about.
The effect happens the most in crappy server low sec systems a la Old Man Star but I have seen it in high sec as well, and in some "unsuspectable" low pop system.
Another effect that I have seen mostly happens at Jita: you undock and then can happily insta-undock, either to your own bookmark or to the aligned planet nearby (a trick everyone and their dog know, so they camp the planet and wait for freighters / indys at that place already).
But if you got a BS or larger ship, some times a day you will undock and then won't be able to insta-undock until 20 seconds have passed and the ship is at nominal speed, whatever you do. Finally, like once every some days (being or not in prime time does not seem to affect that), you won't be able to insta-undock at all for like 40 seconds. This is expecially bad when you have some billions of stuff on a freighter and everyone at this point scanned the bejeezus of your cargo.
Results of the above:
- Frigates do just fine - Moderately plated cruisers still do fine - BCs: they travel fine if you shield tank them and possibly slap some nanos. A Black screen can royally screw you in case you have to undock.
So for BCs and above I'd add nanos and a warp stab, the latter in case you get a back screen / lag on undock and your next view is of a storm of cops.
Indys: I could undock (no lag) and warp away with no instant undock as long as you don't have > 2 expanders and wait for the right exit speed to optimize the turning. Otherwise you'd better to use an insta undock but then beware, even if I used it I had a black screen right 2 days ago while leaving full of POS fuels. If I had been low sec, I'd probably get the indy popped.
Another factor is that you could find some hot head bumping you just for the ensuing luls.

Before my RL made me leave Dark Rising (no time to be of any worth /bows to the old corpies, miss them a lot), one day we teamed with GIS to defend a low sec POS. I lost like 7 sec status in 4 hours, plus we were in FW vs Amarr + Caldari.
The next day we do a Roam PvP Op near Amamake (iirc) and then go ahead to next to Amarr hi sec. Guess what, we get blobbed, my English sucks so I don't get what the FC told to do and jumped the wrong gate. Pronto, I am -7 sec, in FW *and* in Amarr hi sec chased by FW enemies in my Cyclone. As I got that I seriously ****ed it up, I frantically switched to planets and started a warp when both polices of every kind and an enemy FW guy in a Vaga popped in. It took like 20 minutes of fleeing thru hi sec abusing of every planet possible to get rid off the Vaga guy while getting flak from the police. At the end I set home (Taff) as destination (wise choice, off Amarr hi sec, isn't it? But it was my first probable BC loss and I'd have hated it). I enter back in low sec without the gate being camped and discover that with all of my hopping around I ended at 1 jump away off my corpies fleet. At this point I warp to the gate where my fleet awaits and I get a warm feeling like a lost child going at his momma's arms.
