Ive been playing for a several months and have been trying to figure out where I can make the ISK.
Ive mined and built stuff = not much ISK Ive ratted = even less ISK in highsec Ive run missions and salvaged now doing lvl 4s = better but not substantial Ive traded some = some jerk selling for .01 isk less Ive run WHs class 1,2,3 = more time consuming than profit Ive scanned plexs and run them = sometimes a decent profit but very time consuming as well. Ive researched stuff = very very little ISK, better to just sell the datacores. So where is the ISK for a pilot that only gets to play a few hours a week?
Faction Warefare? 0.0 Alliance? Lowsec Pirating?

The fact that you're not succeeding in making much isk does not mean it can't be done. You've dismissed the two most profitable activities, so if you feel those won't do there's not much else.
Your options are: a) keep the negative attitude and be a failure b) get a positive attitude and improve yourself

I can think of at least ten things you haven't got listed that will earn between 50M and 150M per hour.
That's the beautiful thing about this game. No one bothers to really do anything but mining and mission running. Some invention maybe and a little manufacturing. And while all these things will earn you a little ISK, they are nothing compared to the things that not everyone else is doing.
So, Ho Master, now you know there out there. Figure out what they are. And for God's sake have a little fun while you are doing it

You are playing for ISK but are you playing for fun?
My fun in this game is to run missions and blow stuff up. Getting the ISK's is nice - if I am worried about only how to get ISK then it is just another job

did an exploration site last night and got 3.3 billion isk of loot. Not bragging but ok it took 90 minutes to do... cool. That's nearly 2 billion isk an hour. If you aren't willing to put in any time to do something you wont get great returns. v0v -- Ralara's banned again so this is my alt :p |

Exploration gets a lot better once you get better at it.
I make about 100M an hour in C3 wormholes. The most time-consuming part is finding one that isn't farmed out by people living there in a POS already.

Sounds to me, OP, as you're trying to guess what will make you the most ISK and grind that instead of finding something you enjoy. Everything you listed can earn a good amount.
If you truly don't enjoy anything at all, then it's more worth your while to work a couple hours extra per week and sell GTC. Otherwise, find something you enjoy.

Probably not the kind of answer you're looking for but... if all else fails you can always buy PLEX and sell it for ISK.

Or gamble. Or flip cans. Or hijack convoys. Or raid POSes in lowsec. Suicide gank industrials and mop up with an alt. Quietly follow PVP fleets and ninja their wrecks after an engagement. You won't have many friends, but you could get a lot of ISK.
Except for the gambling thing. That doesn't bother people. Unless you're too good at it.

I'm very lazy - I hate to spend time making isk when I could be having fun shooting stuff. I worked out a long time ago the best way to make isk for little effort and requiring few skills is trading. I mean - it even makes money when you are out of game! Can't beat that :)

Spend $35 on a 60day ETC, convert ETC to PLEX, sell for appx 600m ISK.
This is the most 'time efficient' means of making ISK in EVE. Even a ****ty job should only take 3 or 4 extra hours to get enough cash to take care of this... --------------------------------------------

Do what is fun for him, rather than what earns him the most ISK per hour.
If what's fun for him is having ISK to spend on pimping his ships with expensive modules and rigs, PLEX-selling is the way to go.
EVE isn't about ISK, EVE is about having fun.
(Not that I should be talking, actually. I've been way to busy with school recently, to be able to play at all.)

If your looking to be one of the richest people in the world you either need to
a. Pull off a massive scam b. Convince CCP to give you a good t2 bpo c. Build more trust then Chribba d. Take over a market that requires billions upon billions of isk to take over.
