We let you guys build up in Fountain unopposed in the hope we'd one day have a "neighbour" that we could get some GOOD FIGHTS from without travelling 500 jumps. That plan didn't pay off. I personally hope you find fun in the game again and a reason to login, this is just a game and we all deserve that. Try not to get so fixated on one target or goal next time though, it's not healthy.

I also think people don't have much faith in their diplomatic skills. They misread Goonswarm entirely, and sold their soul to help GS get the Delve vanity trophy with promises of mutual support at a later date. When it came to it, GS strung them along for the first week or so of IT's offensive saying it 'would take time to mobilise', then it soon became patently obvious that GS didn't have the slightest intention of helping them out at all. PL as a skillful memberbase with some genuine PVP skills - yes, I'd buy that. PL leadership? No. They talked themselves up into a frenzy and started to believe themselves to be elite, screamed dogs abuse at their pets, and were ultimately shown to have pitiful judgement and far less ability and reach than they thought. If PL can genuinely save themselves from this embarassing little stage in their history I'll be glad. Eve needs people like them. But I think the leadership should have a long, honest think about why they failed to realise they were being played by GS and learn to trust their rank and file members a bit more. welp if you want to ~seriouspost~ you're in the wrong corp ---------- ~bitter dog~ etc

Even with Goons we never could have held on to fountain. believe me, I'm as disappointed as you that we had no way to fight you. I wish the game was playable the way it was advertised. But with no way to deploy titans without losing them to the server and no way to match your numbers without them it was a pointless fight. I wish your membership/leadership had been less :smug: about killing a bunch of titans that weren't loaded and had helped us pushed ccp to fix the issue. but in the end you weren't about Good Fights you were about winning no matter how that victory was handed to you. I guess in that way you haven't changed at all since BOB mk 1 - which makes me wish we could have killed you even more (damn circular motivation). too late now tho, have fun destroying Goonswarm ---------------------------------------------- Please re-size your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. You really haven't grasped the fact that your have just suffered a) the single biggest fleet battle defeat in the whole of Eve history, and also b) the fastest collapse of any spaceholding alliance ever. EVER. I can actually sympathise with both, despite your smacktalk: a) your titan pilots were brave enough to field their ships in a situation that was obviously going to cost them their shiny toys when everyone knew he situation with jump lag. Stupid, but brave! b) I genuinely think PL did the right thing by folding so fast - it was only ever going to cost them space, morale and money to take that kind of a beating from IT daily. They made a very wise tactical withdrawal. The bit that really puzzles me is that you appear to be attempting to insult IT by comparing them to the very alliance that you guys brown-nosed in the most cringeworthy way possible. Everyone warned you that GS would backstab you, but still you trailed around after them like dutiful puppies. These forums were full of taunts about how poor your judgement was. Yet you still sold your souls to help them win Delve as a vanity trophy and appeared to honestly believe they would lift a finger to help you. We all remember the posts by PL members mocking IT about what would happen when GS finally came to defend you... As it stands you acted like a poodle to the most immature alliance in game, and even they didn't bother coming to save you. You lost all of your space to the allicance you devoted yourself to killing. Do your time in the wilderness, and maybe then we'll bother to listen to what your wise leaders have to say. Confirming PL are utter ** and never held moons in lowsec. You know, that place where there were AOE DDs.
