I've recently ventured into the land of synthetic music and chose FL Studio as my program. Problem is I'm having a very hard time finding decent up to date tutorials for the program. If anyone knows of any I'd appreciate a point in the right direction, they can even cost money if they're quality. Thanks in advance!

I would hit up youtube, there are a ton of videos concerning DAW tutorials - you just have to wade through the awful ones first.
To be honest though - FL Studio does not have an amazing reputation. A lot of people use it, but it has a very typical character. FL can take a good idea and make it sound incredibly awful due to its lacklustre synth modules and uninspiring default soundsets. After you've used FL, and heard a few songs in it - you will recognise nearly every song made with it, it sounds that distinctive... (and usually not in a good way).
I would suggest starting with Reason. Its more adaptable, the UI is straight forward and based on hardware emulation, routing is logical and works how you'd expect it - You can automate pretty much everything and you don't have to worry about additional VSTs to get a decent result from it. It also comes with a nice array of samples (in the form of Refills) to get started with, and there are plenty of free Refills floating around online if you want to expand your library.
I still use Reason as a scratchpad as you can get an idea down incredibly quickly. The only downside to it is that it doesn't support VSTs (though the gearset is adequate for beginning) and you cannot record live audio straight into it.

Presumably you have purchased, if so you can head over to FL's tutorials on its site here. Youtube has some tutorial channels, such as this, this, this.
Reason is said to be a more professional app, but it also costs a bucket-load of cash.

This thread is no where near as cool as I thought it would be.

I know nothing about Fruity Loops but I did buy it as a gift for my boyfriend a while back (He used the demo a lot) and he was really disappointed, apparently the version I had bought (Which was NOT the cheapest version) was lacking several important features from the demo version, I think one of them was some sort of keyboard or something that he used a lot.

On the Audiotuts+ website they publish new music-making freely available tutorials on a daily basis (although a selected few - the ones with the "Audio Plus" tag - are for subscribers only). Some of them are specific to a particular program or another, but many describe generic techniques.
I don't recall seeing much (if anything at all) specifically about Fruity Loops, but then again I wasn't looking for it, and the generic stuff should apply nonetheless. Myself, I use Logic and I'm pretty happy with it, very much recommended (though it only runs on Macs).

I haven't purchased yet however the incentive of free lifetime upgrades and the one time cost of $199 (getting producer edition) makes my limited wallet much happier. I have to say I'm a complete novice when it comes to making and understanding music but I'm very good at picking up on how to use programs as long as there is a decent tutorial. I appreciate the recommendations for other programs however the thread isn't called "looking for pointers on what software to buy." Thank you Brolly for the links, one of these is working out well for me.

For a time... then you might get involved in making music and realise that you want additional tools to help you perform. MIDI Controllers, ASIO enabled soundcards, additional VSTs, Monitors or monitoring headphones...
$10,585 and counting for me... Oh the humanity.
Out of interest, what genre do you plan to make in FL?
