Hey guys,
I've just found a significant price difference on a certain item between two markets. Without sacrificing personal assets or taking apart other investments, I have no realistic means to capitalize on this opportunity alone.
I have the means to jump a carrier from deep 0.0 to a safe low sec system, from there the goods will be moved via transport ship to the intended region. All in all, I believe the movement of the cargo is incredibly low risk.
The actual investment itself is 600 million ISK, with about 28% profit return almost immediately. The entire process should happen within a couple of hours.
As you can see, this is a significant profit margin, and when split 50/50 (the actual split can be negotiated) it works out to be roughly 14% gain each between the two of us. This is assuming I'm working with a single investor.
I'm open to working with a few individuals, however this is a limited opportunity. I'd rather not make it too complicated.
Concerns about trust? I've ran an IPO in a past you can see here: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=600897&page=1
This IPO offering was an initial offer of 4 billion ISK.
You can see in a post on the first page, Hexxx himself audited the IPO and everything went incredibly smooth for my business offering.
If you're interested in this quick market transaction, please post or contact me in game.
Basically, I have no requirements as far as your actual participation or understanding--I can handle all of the logistics side of things.
If this exchange goes as well as I'm hoping, there are potentially other profitable trades that can be made between the same two markets. I'm willing to discuss all of this in much more detail with interested investors.
Time is of the essence here. If you're interested, let's get down to business. I'd like to chat in game and we can go into more specific details.
Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks.

ONE THOUSAND ISK?
OR
In before Ji Sama and Cosmoray.
On another slightly related and relatively funny note, who wants to put up bets on whether cosmoray will invest?

The expansion thread;
The scam thread;
I guess some of the more rigorous "enforcers" of MD "standards" will invest "for fun" , but I advise everyone to do their own research (I even provide links and titles). --

Yes. This was a person who previously scammed MD out of 40 bn, 2 years ago. He is clearly incapable of doing something similar these days, so reduced to these begging projects for miniscule amounts. ----------------------------------------

The real question here is "how long did it take him to build trust to scam 40b?" Followed by "how long will it take him to scam 40b 600m at a time?"
Honestly, my money is on the two times being similar.

Not so. By the looks of it, he came as an unknown and scammed 40 bn within 2 months in 2007. 40 bn equals 67 of the 600 mil scams, that's a whole lotta scams he needs to do - and within 2 months lol ----------------------------------------

Again, you are overestimating him. In his bragging posts in 2007 he promised that he would go on and on scamming with new characters. However, there has been no significant scams attributable to him in over 2 years. Since he is clearly prone to bragging, the conclusion is that he was simply not talented enough to develop scams that could harvest from the "new" and more vigilant MD. ----------------------------------------

I was not here to see first person but for what I have read Riethe introduced innovations in scamming. Before his advent it was easier to get "rep" and bonds, so don't be surprised for the amount he managed to get. He brought in or perfectioned the elements of social engineering, of self-stepping up investments (with a final boom), alts juggling and more. It's like an "open source scamming school".
Academically and historically speaking it's an interesting lesson even for those working against scamming.
Moreover, complex personality behavioral patterns would suggest that it's possible he's "at work" already since a while on at least another character. - Auditing and consulting

MD was a lot less painful to read without VV talking out of his ass in every thread. Can we go back you not posting?

Riethe scammed 35b mainly as a consequence of Ricdics' gullibility but also because of Ricdics' total lack of ability in or knowledge about trading.
To this day I doubt that anybody knows what skills Riethe has trained because, as far as I know, nobody's ever asked him.

From what I read of those threads, when Ricdic invested he said he wasn't endorsing the project at all. Further, according to Shar Tegral, the ebank board (including Shar Tegral) approved of the investment.
Can you link the part about "knowledge about trading?" and how it related to 35b being scammed? I can't find this part.

Riethes 'business plan' was a scam that any competent trader would have seen through.

This whole thread is quite funny, reminds me of Baron Mnnchhausen pulling himself and his horse out of the swamp by his own hair.
Except that I lied. This is sad, really sad.

I remember there being a chat log of pure, unadulterated lulz posted somewhere. If I recall it was along the lines of:
Riethe> I can haz spacebux? Ricdic> ur not a scammar r u?? Riethe> no Im 2 legit 2 quit yo Ricdic> ok here's eleventy billion spacebux

Well said, avgfxdhmkltykl. But I don't think Riethe realizes just how pathetic his alts parade really is.

Well... How about we turn this into an "Ask Riethe" thread. I for one am very curious what toys does such a complex personality play with, does he have a pony, stuff like that...
